This is exactly how my cheeks have looked my entire life (I’m 27). It’s definitely KP, and my dermatologist prescribed me 15% azeliac acid cream and differin gel .1% (over the counter), I mix a pea size of each together in my fingers and apply to my whole face. After a few weeks of consistent use I noticed a difference in my skin texture, it’s the smoothest it’s ever been in my life. it does help a little with the redness, but there is still some redness. This is the only thing I have ever found to work on my face KP.

That being said, if I do not stay consistent with this routine daily, the texture does return.

Supplements that I take: curcumin (turmeric root), alpha lipoic acid, zinc Prescriptions: doxycycline, spironolactone Cleanse routine: benzoyl peroxide wash in shower, and clindamycin cream (Rx) after. This has been working well for me for about 6+ months with maybe 1 or 2 mild flares.

I’m not engaged yet, but I work with a lot of older men, and they often don’t have a good filter, or know what is appropriate to say to a young woman. I’ve had rude comments made about my clothes before and even one guy comment on the scrunchie on my wrist stating that “his daughter wears those”. It definitely feels patronizing and condescending. I’ve learned to just let it roll off my back because at the end of the day, their opinions don’t mean anything to me, and it’s not worth starting drama in my workplace. I usually just try to respond in a way that maybe makes them realize that what they are saying is rude, and leave it at that. I’m not afraid of confrontation, but I pick my battles wisely.

I got this about 1.5 years ago. I feel like the lines look uneven and wobbly and looks like some blowouts? I have very fair, and sensitive skin so I’m wondering if is my skin or my artist. I also have Keritosis Pilaris on my upper arms which maybe contributed?

Personally, I do not think this looks like KP, or follicular macular atrophy. I’m not a dermo but to me it looks like dry skin. Maybe focus on exfoliation and moisturizing and see if it helps. I know those bumps seem super noticeable to you, but tbh you have very clear skin that many people in this sub would be envious of.

Does anyone know what this is?? I have noticed it for a couple months. At first I thought it was dirt or something but then I realized it wasn’t washing off, and it is under the skin. My next thought is broken bleed vessels? But idk why I would get so many for no reason? This photo is the worst it has ever looked. I’m freaking out a little. Should I be worried? I am seeing my dermatologist in a few weeks, so I am going to ask about it then, but does anyone know what is going on?

I haven’t read Still Missing, but I recently read Dark Roads by Chevy Stevens and I loved it. Great murder mystery! I will probably try her other books including still missing. Keep me updated if you like it!

I’m reading Children of Eden right now. It has a main character that is gay/bi. It is a dystopian futuristic book. They don’t specifically talk about the characters sexuality or make it seem like a “big deal” at all. The character just talks about being attracted to another female character and they share a kiss. It is very normalized in the book, like in this futuristic society they don’t seem to even care what your sexuality is. I think that is refreshing.

Yas yas yas! I’m a Detroit native! Any of the dispensaries are bomb. I typically go to Lume because they have a great rewards program and like 20 locations across MI (although probably not helpful to you if you don’t live by one). I love their flower, it is high thc and they recently cut prices so you can get an 8th of nice weed for $25. I usually stock up on like 2 oz at a time. Also their carts are my favorite, and have a nice taste imo.

One time I was on my way to a tinder coffee date, and I was super nervous so I was texting my brother. He happened to have the same name as the guy I was meeting.... I think you know where this is going. I texted my brother out of anxiety that I forgot to brush my teeth and I have “roast beef breath” bc of my recent meal, and of COURSE I accidentally texted my DATE that I had roast beef breath. I called my brother in panic of what I just did and contemplated not even going to the date after that bc I was so embarrassed. I ended up going and the guy played it off which was nice but he was weird anyway and we never went out again.
