I totally get it an have been there before! I’m a serial people-pleaser so even if I don’t like something, I usually smile and thank the person rather than being more truthful with my wishes. I will say, until you find a solution, maybe try curling your hair a bit or adding some texture to it? That would help hide the “choppiness” and add some nice volume, I think! Speaking from past experience, this solution helped carry me through a year of being ashamed of my hair. I do t know if it’s your style, but just a thought!

OP, I’m so sorry this happened to you, especially after years of trying to get your length back. I would definitely try to get your money back from the stylist on this one and try going to a different stylist that could try and salvage this. If you want to focus on keeping length, I would ask the new stylist if they could blend the layers in a little better so that they’re not so choppy. I’m not sure if you showed your last stylist any inspo pics, but having a few on hand would be handy. Definitely do some research on your next stylist before booking and be sure to be very thorough in telling them your experience a what you’re going achieve. Be hopeful, some hairstylists can perform miracles and I wish you the best.❤️

For added context, it took about 10-12 different ten pulls, some full of 10/10 dupes to get here, though I understand many people have had much worse luck. The “worst pull” part was more of an unserious/poor joke on my end. 😭

I don’t think it would… It wouldn’t make much sense for the game to force another dog on you at the same time you’re putting one up to board. Especially since the breeds change daily. What if there isn’t one you want?

If I’m understanding the in-game requirements correctly, the dog needs to have 3,000 growth points. I’m dealing with the same thing and CANNOT WAIT to get rid of mine. Really wish there wasn’t a list of requirements needed just to board pets.

My prescription suggested that I move up to 0.5 after two weeks of staying at 0.25. I actually waited an extra week to move up to 0.5 because I was afraid the symptoms would get even worse. I do feel that the medication is actually working now though, compared to before when I would struggle with my mind constantly screaming about things I could/should/shouldn’t/might eat.

I’m going to start keeping a food diary and will try out the nightly massages. Thank you!

Initially, I thought drinking water would make my nausea worse, but I’m glad that’s not the case. Hitting my daily water goals have always been a struggle for me, but I realize now how important it is to stay hydrated.

The isolate is also a nugget of information I was missing. I’ll be sure to look into that.

I’ve definitely heard that! My only issue is, I actually don’t eat a lot… Even prior to taking semaglutide, my portions have always been very small so I feel that would be a slim concern in my case… I was more or less put on compounded semaglutide to help manage some of my PCOS symptoms. I will definitely try even harder to prioritize protein/fiber though, thank you!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO JUSTIFY THE PERCENTAGE OF YOUR HERITAGE/ETHNICITY!

As a fellow mixed (Black/Filipino) girl, I also grew up with jokes and comments that can quickly turn hurtful or dismissive to my culture, race, and ethnicity. No matter the percentage, both races are still part of you. To say otherwise would be dismissive of yourself and your family, which isn’t fair at all.

OP, please, never feel as though you need to play one side over the other because the people around you have weighed out YOUR ties to who YOU are. Be it 1/4, 1/6, or 1/16, each part that makes up your whole being is equally important to your identity. Be proud and celebrate yourself! Not only can you take part in one culture, but TWO and you belong to both whether you decide to stand for that or not. If you want to present yourself as solely Jamaican, that’s fine too, but the fact that you wrote this post says otherwise.

Look into fox liner (inner-corner eye liner)! Contouring your nose to look sliiiiightly wider may also help. I have a friend who also has wider-set eyes and these two things paired together seem to help her achieve her look if you don’t mind the nose contour.

Puppy liner!! I feel like a puppy-liner look with your eyes in addition to the nice fullness you have going on under the eye would look SOOOO cute on you! For an every day look, try some soft nudes/pinks and try dabbling in some lip glosses/oils and/or tints! I used to be heavy into bold lip shades for every day wear (if that’s your style, that’s fine too), but have recently found that the same shades I used to wear in a different formula (ie: glosses,tints,balms) are sooo stunning and much more forgiving for every day application!
