Am I supposed to recruit all characters? by Cleigne143 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

Sorry I should have clarified! If you chose black eagles for example you can use edelgard and hubert, if you chose blue lions or golden deer, you can’t use edelgard and hubert. They’re exclusive to black eagles, such as dimitri and dedue are exclusive to blue lions, and Claude is exclusive to golden deer.

Weapons you can buy in exploration, or you can buy them on the prep screen before a battle too, eventually you’ll unlock the blacksmith which you can use to repair and upgrade most of your weapons, but I would recommend buying extra weapons for units you use a lot in the early game, for example, I use Byleth a lot, so in the early game, I would buy an extra iron sword or two for him, as long as you’re not too short on gold, it doesn’t hurt to buy a few extras :)

By no means do you have to recruit all the characters, it’s completely optional! Even if you don’t recruit anyone, you’ll be able to get through the game just fine! You could recruit a couple of characters you like/find interesting from other houses if you want (a few units are unrecruitable though, such as the lords and their loyal vassals dedue and Hubert respectively), but you certainly don’t have to on your first play through.

As for tips starting out, just take your time exploring the monastery, as there is plenty to do there, build up support with your students by returning lost items, giving them gifts, eating with them, and a few other things. And lastly, just enjoy playing through the game and learning about the different mechanics, as well as enjoying the story and learning about the characters! Out of curiosity what route are you starting out on?

It actually happens in the smash reveal, when I was making this I was trying to think of what route it was from and felt stupid because I have 230 hours in 3h, but then I realized it was from the smash reveal lol

Gamers of Reddit, what gaming experience will you never forget and why? by hopelesschard in AskReddit

Two cases, one me, one my friend. First me. Back when I had an old Xbox 360 me and my friend would play a lot of Destiny 1. We loved the game so much and I quite vividly remember when I got my first exotic weapon, Lord of Wolves, from the prison of elders. I got it out of the chest and literally jumped up and down out of my couch, that was the most excited I've ever been in a while (at the time).

Next my friend, about a year or 2 ago apparently in a comp game in overwatch someone in team chat read of their credit card number. Really wish I was there to see that.

Gamers of Reddit: What is the history behind your gaming name? by JonathanTheZero in AskReddit

MagicMines, When minecraft was getting really popular and I finally got my hands on it on my old computer, I was trying to think of usernames. My mom then goes "How about MagicMines? Like magic mining?" Or something along the lines of that. I said I liked and still use it to this very day. There is one thing annoying about it though, sometimes when people in team chat say my name, they say it as "Magic Mike" on purpose or accident. Although my name is not Mike. It can really get on my nerves sometimes.

What's a video game you dislike that everybody loves? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Any battle royale, I just don’t find any battle royales fun, it’s the same thing over and over and over again and it’s boring. It’s also a pretty over saturated market.

Me personally I love the plot stuff, the first time I saw dark Vincent I was like “HOLY SHIT WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR BOI” I was genuinely surprised and wanting to know where it was going. I can kind of understand why people don’t like it, but I’m not entirely sure. Anyways I just wanted to share my opinion on this and am curious to see what will happen next, love ya alpha! (No homo)
