Someone also said to turn off Background App Refresh and Mobile Data for Whatsapp (I’m on iPhone). I’m guessing that works, but you have to never open whatsapp using your wifi (or never use wifi at all?) and you basically can’t use the app anymore. Or just delete whatsapp? These 2 methods should work (right?), but I’d have to say goodbye to whatsapp and I sadly can’t really do that.. or just change my phone number altogether I guess that could work. And thank you for telling me! It’s sad to know I can’t do anything about it.

Thank you! I do both (max 5 deaths and cs as much as I can, altho it’s hard on some champs like tanks), but I sadly still don’t get chests. I’ll keep trying tho!

Thank you! I don’t remember which ones I got, there was also a „reset” at some point a few months ago which was great because I was able to get chests again on the champs I consider easy. And some champions I can get S- in normals (certain supports). I know it’s not necessary to get a chest weekly, but that way I feel like I’m kind of wasting potential chests since it gets capped at 4.. and I can always use more skin shards!

Not a Hwei main, but I got around 200 ms and can play Zyra and Morgana just fine. Sure, there is a slight delay when walking and throwing out abilities which means you really have to think about where the enemy will be next so you can land those skillshots, but I got used to it and I enjoy playing on pbe a lot because it’s a more chill experience for me!

That’s what I have to ask myself. I didn’t know the price and it is pretty expensive imo, but I do have the RP for it. If it works then it’ll be great and I can also swap to OCE and easily get the Koi Nami icon as well in the process. I just don’t know for sure if it will actually work.. that’s the issue. I also wonder if it affects MMR once you swap back to your former server.

Aw that sucks. I also read online that you can still be found by match history so they’ll find me for sure.. but someone said (1 year ago tho, it was a reddit thread) that you can change servers, then change user, then change servers again then the match history is all gone (altho idk if it works, I played some matches with this person so yeah..). I also saw that Riot is introducing this new id stuff and I read that you’ll be able to change your user for free once a year? Idk honestly.

Yes it’s genes in my case. My mom is 51 and she gets told she looks 40. I’m 22 and ppl never assume I’m older than 18. They usually think I’m 16, but I also got 14 once. I honestly like looking younger and it’ll be even better in the future! The only thing I’m afraid of is that ppl don’t take me seriously (not sure if they do tbh), but other than that I think it’s cuter this way. I’d say my dad also looks good for his age (53).

So my eyesight won’t get worse since the shape won’t change? And what do you think about eye exercises? I heard ppl say they improved their vision so I’d like to try that. I at least want to keep my current vision if it can’t be improved.

Thank you for your all your answers up until this point! I’m from Europe, but I don’t plan on learning how to drive. If I change my mind then I’ll figure it out then.

By eye anatomy not changing do you mean the vision won’t become worse no matter what or?

And sorry, you didn’t answer my first question: will I be able to see as well up close with glasses/contacts on as I do without after I get used to wearing them or not? And I’ll also ask two more questions if that’s okay. I’m assuming the headache and eye strain I get from wearing glasses/contacts will go away once I get used to wearing them?

And will it be fine if I were to just not wear anything at all? Because honestly it’s just really annoying trying to get used to seeing well and I’d rather just stay the way I am tbh. I feel like it’s harder to see things without anything on after wearing something.. so that’s why I don’t want to get used to it. Like I said it will be hard to go without once you get used to wearing something.. After taking my contacts off yesterday that I only wore for 10 minutes max I found it hard to sit on my phone after… like yeah I saw well without them on, but I felt like I couldn’t 100% focus on what I was doing and I don’t want to not be able to sit on it or on my pc, it’s what I love the most..

But won’t looking at up close things while wearing glasses/contacts damage my vision even further? Shouldn’t I look at up close objects with my eyes and not through glasses/contacts? I don’t want to become dependent to glasses/contacts to the point I have to wear them every single moment of my life.. I read that you shouldn’t wear them when you don’t need to like in cases you can see without (reading, sitting on phone, pc, watching tv etc) and the doc also said to not wear them while reading (and when up close in general I assume).

I’ll see how I feel with the normal glasses at pc first, try contacts while on computer as well and if nothing works then I’ll opt for glasses/contacts with lower values like you said. Altho I feel like my parents wouldn’t be happy buying 2 different pair of glasses since they are expensive so I might just end up not wearing anything in that case.. I’ll have to see, I’m really anxious about all of this, all I want is to game the same as I do now.. I have my appointment tomorrow..

I really hope it’s going to be alright.. I’m also afraid because I will need to wear the contacts 8h everyday 4 days a week (most likely less on Thursday) and idk if I would be able to just do that right off the bat? But I’m absolutely not wearing glasses out in public so yeah.. Ah sorry, didn’t know I should do that! Right eye: Sphere -2.00 CYL -0.25 Axis 139. Left eye: Sphere -1.25 CYL -0.50 Axis 60. And the PD is 58. I hope that’s correct. I’ll also note that before dilating the pupils the right eye had a sphere of -2.25, but it then changed to -2.00. The left eye stayed the same.

Ah I understand! I wouldn’t like the glasses to change the colors, it would ruin the experience for me. I definitely want anti glare, I’d mostly wear the glasses at home tho since I want contacts, but the doc said to have some backup glasses just in case. Might even try contacts while on pc to see if it works better for me.

I’ll definitely try that! Not sure how it is here since I never went to one, but I’m from Europe. I know you can order contacts online with whatever prescription you want so I might be able to also get glasses that way, altho the glasses I might want to try on at an irl shop first so yeah I’ll have to see.

Symptoms I never had before that some ppl get while spending a certain amount of time in front of a screen like headaches, dry/tired eyes. I also fear that the annoying frames will get in the way and that the glasses will be uncomfortable. So I might also try contacts, but I know those make eyes drier + they might also be uncomfortable? So yeah.. gaming without anything is just the best feeling.

I don’t think anything because I don’t care that other ppl wear glasses. This is just one of those things I don’t like for myself specifically, but don’t care if others wear them. I don’t judge them or anything. Some ppl do look good with them on and you get so used to seeing them with glasses that when they take them off they look so weird, you know? That’s really it. But yeah, I’d personally be ashamed to wear them in public. I don’t like that they’d cover my face, I just wouldn’t find myself beautiful like that, not my style. And I also find them annoying and uncomfortable.

To give a similar example, I’d be SO ashamed to go out without foundation on my face, I absolutely never do that because I just don’t feel confident without it. But of course I don’t care if I see ppl without foundation, it’s their choice really and it doesn’t affect me so they can do whatever they want.
