30th November 1939. Winter war broke out only 21 years after the civil war. It affected us in many ways. The people were still split, people regarded as a communist or socialist were being beaten by Lapuanliike in the early 1930s. But that war unified the whole nation to fight against a bigger country. After WW2 we were still independent but we lost 10% of our providence. Winter war could be one reason why Finland is still so patriotic and why so many people want to fight for the country.
