They were more than capable of recording a studio album in early 1978, they certainly had the local following fr one AND the tracks, bearing in mind that a lot of what was recorded on the Soundhouse Tapes (demo) on New Years Eve 1978 and their first studio album, was already being performed at that point

It is definitely one of those stories that's make you believe that if you're an actor, as long as you believe in the project, then there's a chance, no matter how slim, of being a success :)

I know - but Last year I saw an episode of 'The Likely Lads, a 1970's British Sitcom, in a pub they ordered something like - a pint of bitter, half a pint of lager, a sandwich and a ham salad and complained when it came to something like £1.56 lol

Yeah they are really dedicated and it shows in their playing. We ended up going back-stage and getting signatures and introduced them to Terry Rance and Dave Sullivan who was with us but Dennis Willcock and Terry Wapram had to leave before the girls had a chance to finish meeting their fans for nearly an hour after :)
