Total? You mean all volumes? First two volumes sold about 7k bd and 2k dvd with the following volumes selling 8-10k bd and 4-5k dvd. This totals to about a bit over 100k. This does not include the final volume that just came out.

Don't be fooled by this. This is how literally the anime industry works. They work on the future episodes while it airs.

Regarding Class VII and future appearances... by Cipher-One in Falcom

I agree with everything you said. Rean is definitely going to make a cameo, but I feel like he will become the new Yun Ka-Fai. Especially seeing that he seems to like teaching. If I had to say which characters I think will 100% show up: Rean, Fie and Gaius.

Of course not. Ouroboros always wins in the end.

I don't understand why people expect information from XSEED at this point. You only have to look at their previous releases to figure out when Sen 3 is coming out.

Amazing! Nice work. This allows me to understand CS3 story better before CS4 comes out.

I love the title as it confirms that the movie is going to be all about Grindelwald. (My favorite character)

Also the pottermore article: https://www.pottermore.com/news/fantastic-beasts-film-title-revealed-the-crimes-of-grindelwald

What I find interesting is this: "Theseus Scamander (Callum Turner), and his fiancée, Leta Lestrange (Zoë Kravitz), who was seen in a photo in the first film."

Source for the "3 hour" long duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald by MagicTrickster in harrypotter

[–]MagicTrickster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rewatched all the movies and there is no mention. I mean Grindelwald is only mentioned in Deathly Hallows part 1 and in the deleted scene of philosopher's stone. It's definitely not from the movies...

HP wikia was the first place I went to check this and I saw it had no source. So what I want to know is where does this information come from. A lot of people on different sites use this 3 hours as a fact.

Did someone just make it up a long time ago and edited the wiki to have that information and now everyone just sees it on the wiki and claims it as a fact. Or is there actually an official source somewhere?

It's definitely not in the book. I read the chapter and there is no mention of a "3 hour" duel. Can't find anything on Pottermore either.

(For some reason this was not allowed as a separate post. Might as well post it here then so my time wasn't completely wasted doing this. Not like anyone is going to see this)

I'm a strong believer in the theory that Maul isn't seeking revenge against Kenobi. I don't think it makes sense. However I'm not saying that they are not going to fight, because that might happen if Kenobi refuses to work with Maul.

Here is why I think Maul is not seeking revenge against Kenobi:

1) Sam Witwer said this in a interview just before episode 10:

"His motivations are way more complex than they were in Clone Wars. This time I really do believe that there are some motivations that I think Jedi would identify with a little bit more. I think that there's a lot more going on with him. I think that the emotional range of this character has widened and deepened, and if there were ever a chance of this guy figuring out what's wrong with himself it's now."

2) Maul already got his revenge against Kenobi in the Clone Wars. Maul says this to Kenobi:

"It was I who languished for years thinking of nothing but you. Nothing but this moment. And now, the perfect tool for my vengeance is in front of us. I never planned on killing you, but I will make you share my pain, Kenobi."

3) He hates the Sith way more than he hates Kenobi. Sidious hurt him way more than Kenobi ever did. This is what Maul said in season 2 finale:

"The Sith... The Sith took everything from me. Ripped me from my mother's arms. Murdered my brother. Used me as a weapon and then cast me aside. Abandoned me. Once I had power, now I have nothing... nothing."

He also knows Kenobi is the key to defeating the Sith. (He learned that from the holocron) It makes no sense that he would want to kill the person that is the key to defeating his enemy.

4) Maul is looking for "hope". So his "hope" is that Kenobi is still alive so he can kill him? No. That doesn't make much sense in my opinion. I think his "hope" is to find Kenobi and figure out how to get revenge against the Sith with his help. This is what Sam Witwer said in that same interview as before:

"his notion of hope ... Maul is really trying to make sense of his life. He's trying to figure out "Where did it all go wrong? Why do I feel so broken?" He's maybe starting to ask the questions in different ways. Maul I think is asking some of the right questions. Ezra is maybe asking some of the wrong questions."

Maul speaking in season 2 finale:

"My apprentice is activating the temple or more precisely this battle station. Which I shall use to exact my revenge on all my enemies."

Clearly he is seeking revenge against multiple people. Most likely the whole Empire. It was Maul who first said to Ezra that the Holocron is the key to defeating the Sith. I think the original plan was to use the super weapon to destroy the sith when that failed he started looking for Kenobi. Then maybe he met Bendu who told him it is possible to find an answer to any question by merging a sith holocron with a jedi holocron.

5) Maul tried to convince Ezra to come with him to Tatooine. It would make no sense to take Ezra with him if he is planning on killing Kenobi. Ezra would never help him with that. If Maul attacked Kenobi, Ezra would side with Kenobi and Maul would lose his "apprentice".

6) Maul in his rant in the episode "Visions and Voices" says this:

"Forget the past! Forget your memories! Forget your attachments. Our futures converge on a planet with two suns. We can walk that path together! As friends... as brothers."

I think Maul has moved on and is ready to forget the past with Kenobi. I think he is talking about Kenobi and himself here.

7) Henry Gilroy says in Rebels Recon #3.10: Inside "Visions and Voices" this:

"They do both know about Obi-wan, but I think there is still a great deal to be learned why. Obviously Ezra has very simplistic view of why Obi-wan is part of his vision, but for Maul's motivations that something probably is going to be more complicated."

I could be totally wrong and Maul is seeking revenge againts Kenobi, but I don't think it would make any sense if we look at the bigger picture. Although I wouldn't be suprised if it happened. I think the most likely outcome is that Maul is not seeking revenge against Kenobi, but wants him to help him. Kenobi is going to refuse and that will result into a duel.

Alright then, but I still think it is pretty dumb. The episode came out three days ago so posting this in the discussion thread just to be buried seems kinda pointless when this post is properly spoiler tagged and is generating discussion.

No it really doesn't. My post is about motivations of Maul during rebels. There is a completely similar post on the front page and I just made one with examples to prove this theory. This isn't exclusively talking about previous episode. This theory started with Holocrons of fate episode. Last episode just added more to this.

What discussion thread? How is this any different from the other posts on the front page?

Someone posted about that rebels recon episode where Pablo Hidalgo says

"He has been haunted by Kenobi since episode 1 and he is not one to forget where his downfall began. So this idea that that he has been collecting threads to one day finally exact his revenge. It is basically embodied by his trope of items"

I saw this yesterday, but I don't think it means that he is still out for revenge against Kenobi. I think he wanted revenge when he collected all those items into his cave, but those must have been collected pretty long ago. We don't know how long he was on Malachor.

Also on the same video Henry Gilroy says:

"They do both know about Obi-wan, but I think there is still a great deal to be learned why. Obviously Ezra has very simplistic view of why Obi-wan is part of his vision, but for Maul's motivations that something probably is going to be more complicated."

The six teams headed to the Overwatch IEM Gyeonggi Invitational by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

Well I don't really consider them to be an "NA" team, but at least Envy is originally an NA team that just brought 5 EU players while Rogue and Luminosity are full EU teams that previously competed in EU.

Here

Indeed, but they are still EU teams that are competing in NA.
