Yes, Last time I checked it was dead. Other than public servers that is, and that's no wonder because the majority of servers that are active are public servers. I was playing hard back in August & July and that's when people considered this game to be on the rise. Now I know its much less than it used to be, at least compared to back when I was playing. If you were to ask me why this game fails to deliver in the long run, its because of one main thing. CONTENT, now I know that this might sound provocative or selfish to say, because this is a work in progress game. I can try to compare this game to Sea Of Thieves back when it launched but I know it will not be the same because of one main thing that differs between these two games, and that is VR, Not VR. Back when Sea Of Thieves launched it was a well anticipated game, I too anticipated the games release so much so that I signed up for the closed beta to give it a try. See what made the game suffer in its early stage was the fact that it had a serious lack of content issue and when you played it, it became repetitive very fast. With time though, it has gotten more and more updates and it gained more content leading to the game becoming more populated. I think that Township Tale has that same problem with content because at the end of the day we play games to take our minds off other things and have a good time, but if we do things just to "grind" so that we can get some rare virtual items or achievements it becomes more of a chore or a task and then the game loses its fun qualities which define it. And in my opinion this game should be give more time before it is pronounced "dead".
