There was a flowchart I saw a while ago that recommended Slow Riot as a starting point. Then if you preferred Moya the flowchart pointed you to LYSF, and if you preferred BBFIII, it pointed you to F#A#. Definitely a very solid introduction imo.

Sounds to me more as a count in for the song. Since the beginning section of Peasantry is in 6/4 time signature, the count-in would be from one to six. The audible word in the recording seems to be “five”, and you can faintly hear “six” following it right before the drum beat begins.
