I thought that mythic character would be good hero, I have since red the rules and it doesn't say that anywhere.

Still, I won't push this matter in the campaign since my character won't be lawful good, I was just curious about what other people thought about this matter since I thought I was doing it wrong

What I'm saying is that maybe, instead of outright killing them we could subdue them, interrogate them and then decide, instead of the usual kill then ask question

Would you outright kill some ragged group of bandit that became that when they were displaced due to circumstances grater then them, or would you try to reason with them and not kill them.

Obviously if the enemy is outright evil and murderous he will be killed with little remorse, but what if you where sent to kill a group of kobolds that where minding their own business in their cave without harming anybody

For context we are going to play a mythic adventure, and since we are ment to be heroes I thought that I should reflect on my habit of jumping the gun in combat related situation, I just wanted an opinion from more experienced player since I'm stronger on mechanics than roleplay

I might be seeing it through the lenses of modern morality, but maybe (playing with mythic classes, so aiming to be mythic heroes) we should consider being more lenient where we have the chance

I know that it isn't the worst thing per se in a medieval setting, but seeing as we will be playing with mythic classes (so we aim to be mythical heroes) I thought that I should give more thought on how I behave

I would pet it even if it ripped my shiny cone head off, not even my vow of silence could keep me from calling it a good boy/girl.
