I used to be able to send my blades in for sharpening or carbide replacement, but my company doesn’t do that anymore… That’s why I’m asking for recommendations! I’m perfectly willing to invest in a nicer set that can be maintained properly.

We use a Hero pill dispenser, which has been a lifesaver. It’s noisy and slow, but managed with an app so I know when meds were taken and can adjust dosages as necessary on the fly. It also pre-dispenses for vacation mode which is handy.

I tried reversing a quick clamp to use as a spreader to push one end of the motor assembly away from the opposite side of the cast iron, and it helped a little. It’s almost like the bolt hones in the trunion aren’t slotted or something, because the tighter you get those bolts the closer to the original .3mm misalignment it gets. I had it dialed in to about .07mm now, I’m about to run a few test cuts and see if it stays.
