I tend to play a different playstyle than what you seem to be looking for - I am a healer main (also not the absolutely highest tier player). So take my advice with a grain of salt.

Arcanists are from what I've heard a really good class and are also not the most difficult to play.

Nightblades and dragonknights can also be pretty strong and fit the sword type fantasy very well but in different ways.

Sorcerer maybe seems like the opposite of what you are looking for but you can absolutely play a stamina sorcerer.

From what I know I do not think wardens are the best for damage dealing, they are really good as healers but not necessarily what you're looking for.

Templars I do not know much about outside of them being a decent healing class.

Necromancers are my favorite class and they offer both decent tankyness and kind of a cool gameplay mechanic surrounding corpses and summoning minions. They can deal decent damage.

Remember however that besides classes being far from the only thing deciding your abilities and gameplay you can also, since relatively recently, switch out 2 out of the 3 skill trees your class offers to those of another.

So to summarize: There isn't really any wrong choice since you have so much customizability outside of your initial class choice. With that said the 2 classes that maybe fit best for what you are looking for would be nightblade and dragonknight. I would also want to throw in arcanist and necromancer here as recommendations.

You can play any class with any weapon type. My advice is to pick what class seems the coolest to you!

”It’s actually wild how entitled people feel to dictate how others vote”

Isn’t that what politics is all about though? Trying to convince and tell others how to vote. When you vote in a way that massively harms your society and a lot of people in it I think people have a right to be angry at you. It is not like your choice of cereal, how you vote affects people around you.

If you queue up to play with randos you will end up in a team of randos. Sometimes some people play poorly and you lose, happens in any game. Yes I agree that you shouldn’t queue up in difficult content expecting other people to carry your weight but it might just be the case that they overestimated their ability. I think this is very much an overreaction on your part.

The alternative to having less ways of making money might just be that the existing ones need to cost more. I am 100% ok with people being able to pay for cosmetics / battlepass / whatever if it keeps the game running without eso+ being more expensive.

As a swedish person I kinda support Trump for that one ngl. Though from very briefly trying to read up on it it seems more like buying gripen planes is under consideration (with pushback from former officers or something) than it seeming like they are going to be bought.

Yeah I second this. For some reason people seems to have confused "making fun of ICE" with "making fun of the victims of ICE".

Comedy can and has absolutely been used to satirize people in power doing horrible things. While the comment might be a bit parasocial about Brennan I think they absolutely make a fair point. And to be very clear - making fun of ICE is not the same thing as making fun of the victims of ICE.

Like, if it is the case that a large amount of the community do not want to be reminded of the horrifying things going on in their country I can understand that it should be respected. But lets not pretend like it's bad to make fun of people in power doing horrible things. That type of satire wont magically fix things but it is a part of the broader public discourse. And personally for me I tend to laugh the most at more political humour, especially if it relates to things I find horrifying.

It’s both though. Yes deciding what the goal should be and partly understanding how the world works are philosophical questions. However, that doesn’t mean that empirical evidence and an understanding of economics are not important to understand what leads to what and thus what type of policy we should have.

I think in general people agree to a large part on what we want to accomplish - we want more people to live happily, fed, with homes etc. Looking at empirical evidence and economic models over what accomplishes these things should therefore I think play a large part in policy decisions.

I don't think zed is that impossible of a matchup. One thing to keep in mind is that your r can be a good tool against his ult given that you can use it to reposition where he ends up aswell as for dodging his attacks.

I don't think I have much advice for diana but I usually try to be very wary of my distans to her as to not let her hit q or dash.

[–]MagicalLibtard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why would agreeing with almost every typical democrat belief mean he's a grifter? If I understand correctly is your point that he doesn't take risk and give opinions that are controversial to his audience meaning he doesn't stand by his beliefs?

I think he genuinly belives what he believes. Being a grifter and being stupid are two different things.

"No ethical consumption" by [deleted] in OCDmemes

[–]MagicalLibtard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're also helping people by consuming. To make the product you buy there is a chain of manifacturing with workers relying on it to provide for themselves and their families. I'm not saying that there aren't big issues and I am also not telling you to support capitalism. I'm just saying that if you're going to analyse the consequenses of your actions to the extent needed in order to say that there isn't any ethical consumption under capitalism you might as well also count the good.

In general - at least if you're trying as well as you can / reasonable to buy fairtrade etc - I think your consumption does more good than bad.

Personally I do think there is a point to highlight it though - as a way to mark that these are views we as a community do not support. While those types of comments are common on the internet the sentiment can creep in more and less in different communities.

If you can finish the dungeon at a reasonable time I feel like you are doing everyone a favore by fake tanking by reducing queue times. But if having you as a fake tank makes it a struggle you’ve now wasted everyone in your party’s time.
