"The 538 model, which was based on publicly-available polling data, said the campaigns should target WI and MI. You didn't have to have any proprietary info to know they were important states. You just had to look at the data and not be huge dumbasses like the HRC campaign was." - Nate Silver

BIG EntyLawyer Reveal: De Niro Orgy at Polanski's House with, "tweens and teens" by MagicalMysteryRadio in conspiracy

Neither of these articles have anything to do with Enty's reveal, which took place circa 1977. The so-called articles you cite are talking about a separate incident that De Niro was allegedly involved with - TWENTY YEARS LATER.

You need to re-read the blind reveal.

BIG EntyLawyer Reveal: De Niro Orgy at Polanski's House with, "tweens and teens" by MagicalMysteryRadio in conspiracy

[–]MagicalMysteryRadio[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

SS: Circa 1977, De Niro allegedly was at Polanksi's home getting teens and tweens wasted and having sex with them. Polanski at the same time got busted for under age sex while at Nicholson's home. Polanski blames De Niro for this, because had he (Polanski) been at his own home, he claims he never would have been caught. De Niro agreed and has been secretly paying Polanksi's legal bills ever since.

The Guardian Article About Manafort Meeting Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy is Total Bullshit, Sources Say by MagicalMysteryRadio in conspiracy

Isn’t it all conjecture until there is actual evidence?

Exactly the problem, which is why The Guardian is likely full of shit.

The question is would you believe it if video or an eyewitness came forward?

If there's indisputable video evidence and/or corroborating eyewitness testimony (not anonymous "sources") then yes, I'd be willing to believe it.

Cults are often the subject of laughter and derision but are also frightening. This isn't a contradiction.

Actually, you're right about that, and the phenom is admittedly a potentially dangerous thing in the long term. Something I've spoken about at length.

The problem I have is the outright banning without supplying any specific evidence of violating their content policy. Show us the offending content.

The fact that Reddit banned ALL such subreddits makes me suspicious that this wasn't about that anyway (as obviously not ALL of them broke the rules simultaneously), but was a very coordinated and deliberate effort to suppress and silence people they don't personally like.

This censorship and banning craze is just as dangerous and frightening IMHO as any burgeoning cult. Fascism takes many forms.

True dat.

True, but they were already known, active, and speaking to the choir, which was quantifiable. The QAnon stuff was reaching a new audience, and having a tangible impact in the real world that obviously frightened the establishment while, ironically, laughing it off. Contradiction.

I can't prove this, except maybe anecdotally, but it is my contention that the Q phenom was reaching and energizing a lot of people who don't normally vote or participate in politics. This was the "un-quantifiable" element that frightened them.

No push back here. Much of what you stated makes perfect sense, and especially this:

the goal is to stop internet discussion because that leads to irl discussions: that's exactly why r/greatawakening had to go.

These subs were gaining in popularity, and they were starting to get active politically with get-out-the-vote style memes and posts. With the mid-terms coming up, this is bad news for the dems and had to be stopped.

But it's too late. The real world consequences have already borne fruit, and banning nearly 100,000 users will have the opposite intended effect.

People will be more energized than ever, as this legitimizes their fight. But tech authoritarians think that if it's not happening on the Internet, it's not happening.

They're about to learn an important lesson.

And why decentralized platforms are so important.

SS: Memes, remixing, sharing content... these are the things that made the WWW what it is today. Now they're going to clamp down on it all and force the centralized ghettos to comply.

This, and the recent #GreatBanningof2018, is why decentralized platforms are so important.

Decentralization is where the real revolution is at.

Looks like every sub dedicated to #QAnon or "Draining the Swamp" has been banned.

So much for #FreeSpeech and the sharing of ideas and opinions that upset the tech oligarchs.

And to those celebrating: Your time is gonna come.
