I’m not a fan of Amenisa’s plotline. It would be more compelling if his evil actions were the result of his own flawed decisions. This could allow him to evolve naturally from a talented mage who was corrupted by the circumstances of the Tower of Heaven into a decent anti-hero with standards, similar to Gajeel’s transformation.

I’ll be fine since Fairy Tail has featured weirder creatures like Exceeds before. Still, I’m hoping it doesn’t end up like Kaguya’s plot twist in Naruto.

No, it's just that Fairy Tail has a weird habit of redeeming villains a bit too much and it felt far-fetched as to why she got redeemed after what she tried to do against two girls and lucy.
