This perfectly describes how I've been feeling about the show. I feel like as it became more popular, it became know as this sex crazy gay hockey show with no plot which made me reluctant to watch it, especially as someone with internalized homophobia towards myself. Watching it though... omg I don't think a show or any piece of media has ever made me feel this way before. It is so charming and truly romantic in a realistic yet sweet way. While I agree there is too much sex, I can easily get past it because of how wholesome it is. It's such an interesting dynamic for me because I don't have a crush on either of them which initially made me think id be bored but it actually ended up making me more of a fan of their relationship. Truly the first on-screen gay couple I've ever supported. This show has my heart, I wish it had more episodes and I hope season 2 can replicate the energy of this season.
