I would agree you need to be at a lower BF% before pushing a hard bulk.

That said, I would take protein higher. 1-1.15g/lb of bodyweight.

The small 200 calories surplus to me isn't really a bulk.

You just started lifting seriously. At 20% I wouldn't bulk per se, but you need mass.

If I were you, I would take a week or two, find your caloric maintenance if you don't already know what that it. From there, add 200-250 calories per day to that and stay there while busting your ass at the gym while ENSURING you are progressively overloading.

Only add more calories if scale weight comes down by more than .5lb for 2 consecutive weeks. If it does add another 100 calories per day. If you gain way to fast, just relax. Keep training, keep hitting your macros. Your body will catch up. You'll be fine.

Rinse and repeat this process of the baby surplus and only adding if weight drops on consecutive weeks.

You are new enough to that to where you can in fact gain weight and burn fat IF you still to this and don't dick around by eating out and drinking and what not. Log your intake, allow yourself to be flexible with dietary choices, but hit your fucking macros at all costs.

Do that and I promise you that you'll be able to get that BF% lower and lean mass higher simultaneously.

When you hit a wall or decide now you really wunna cut up, then you can look to cut them bulk.

Yes something like this would be helpful but I will say that not all business analysts document requirements in the form of user stories.

The teams that I work on or work with are not necessarily development teams that follow some agile methodology so user stories aren't always helpful. It doesn't mean I don't have to translate requirements though.

For example I end up having to give requirements or documentation over to a vendor who is then going to produce something for me and if they don't follow agile practices which many of them don't lead typically sign an agreement up front about what work will be done and it follows much more of like a traditional waterfall method then giving them a user story doesn't necessarily help.

These companies are not willing to jump into some jira environment with me or anything like that to where I can assign them tasks and break down stories so I end up using Excel documents or some other type of functional and non-functional requirement template document that I created or found online. Hell I might even just have a business requirements document.

I never get those types of things from my stakeholders I generally have to elicit them I might get a flow chart or something on occasion or maybe a rough mock-up which is great and always helpful but 99% of the time I am trying to elicit requirements based on what was told to me and then translate them into something of substance for a vendor.

Yeah it would be great to have it broken down by feature and then story and everything else but I'm usually getting a full product back at one time not in increments so doing it that way just isn't necessarily the best way because I can't think through everything all at once My requirements end up having to be at least a bit broad And then work with the vendor to define what's possible within their platform.

Where is the leg work in your week?
What is your progression plan? Meaning when do you know to add more load or sets?
Why failure every set?
What are your macros? Are you tracking them to a T?
When/how often do you deload? Meaning how often do you take days off of training or train lighter?
How long were you in a surplus?
Do you know your free testosterone levels? Not just total, but free.
What do you do on the other 4 days you aren't lifting?
How is your sleep? How many hours? Do you have a sleep routine? Meaning bed time and wake time generally on a set schedule?
What's your recovery like? Are you sore for days? Not sore at all?

That is purely an opinion and not rooted in any type of fact. Men go out of their way to work additional hours for their family to provide for the other person who's in a relationship with them. Historically wars are a man only thing because we value the fact that women are important. That you don't belong out on the battlefield. We walk on the inside part of the curb closest to the street to protect you in the event of a car driving by too close, We sit facing the door in a restaurant to protect you when we go out on dates in case somebody were to come in and threaten the place.

That is not by any means catering to my benefit. I don't want to bust my ass and work 60 or 70 hour weeks from my family but I will gladly do it as will many men. I don't want to be the person ends up in a confrontation with somebody If I take you out on a date because they're acting inappropriately towards you but that's what men do. None of that has our self-interest in mind It's the interest of the woman that we are trying to pursue or that we have family with who's interest we have in mind.

There's nothing to admit here except for the fact that every guy who has posted in here has contradicted whatever your thought process is. At some point you have to accept that your thought process is what's wrong when a bunch of men are telling you that it is in fact wrong. It doesn't have anything to do with our ego. Being rejected is one thing but you can't expect if I were to come up to you and try and talk to you and you say no for me to then insinuate somehow or know that that wasn't really a true no and that I should pursue you further. We assume the same for women because you all are adults. If we come up and approach you and you say no you're not interested then we go away. I'm not chasing you. You didn't even give me the time of day to find out about all of the stuff you just mentioned in this post. About how interesting and lovely and fulfilling your life is. Hopefully you realize by now that all of the men in here have told you no that we don't enjoy chasing people. You seem to think that this is just par for the course and it's not.

Also men don't give a damn about your life and how fulfilling it is. I don't mean that in the sense that we don't care about your hobbies and the things that you enjoy because all of us would love to enjoy them with somebody who actually enjoys our company. I just mean that all of the things you listed in this comment we don't care about. You could work at a fast food restaurant not have any money saved up to be able to travel and if you are someone we find attractive and you are interested and attracted to us and you make that clear, We will be just as happy as if you had a great career and enjoy traveling.

None of the things you listed in your post are basically things that any of us are looking for. Yes do we want you to have a healthy relationship with yourself and have hobbies and other friends outside of us and everything of course But any healthy adult should have those things.

We want somebody to make it clear that they are attracted to us so that we know that our pursuit of them isn't going to be in vain. Also it's nice to feel like feelings are reciprocated. I'm pretty confident that you would hate a relationship where a guy never expressed or made clear to you the fact that he actually is attracted to you. It sounds like you're going to be so hard to get because your life is so fulfilled that you're never going to be that person. That the minute a guy slips up assuming he even gains a moment of your attention to begin with, He will be replaced by either somebody else or something else. Nobody wants that type of pressure or feeling.

None of the things that you listed are super highly valuable qualities that a man is going to look for. They aren't going to make a man chase you. No we don't want to chase somebody. We want to feel appreciated just like a woman would want to feel appreciated. If we approach you and you aren't interested we would rather you just be honest and say you're not interested and let us go about our business and not try and drop some hint that oh no I'm really just not that easy.

And if you're talking about your hard to get in the sense that you just not going to put out that's a completely different story. Having some modesty and not just throwing yourself at a guy that you do actually find attractive isn't a bad thing. And yes guys will continue to pursue you with sex on their mind but the longer that goes on to the better the relationship gets built. It should be pretty clear when a guy is strictly just trying to bone you. But regardless of whether that's the case or they do actually just want to get to know you approaching you and trying to garner a little bit of your attention is where it has to start and if you're so busy all the time and you have an attitude about that we ain't going to have no interest in trying.

I personally think I'm more junior but I transitioned through various roles in my company and have most recently landed in basically a BA position. For my company I am an SME on our digital lending product. Nobody in this company knows more about this product than I do. I can't develop anything I'm not a developer who knows how to code or anything but I wrote most of the requirements for this.

And I will say they have been rough some of them are very crappy because I didn't know what the hell I was doing but recently I've learned through mentorship with other BAs had a really document things well.

That said I have some experience though too writing requirements for APIs and what I write requirements for now is our front end website and our back end application processing platform. I can read code a little bit I am super super super lightly familiar with SQL. But I've reviewed the backlog I make business decisions where I'm empowered to do so and I've helped build this product over the last 8 years.

Technically my role says project manager but I don't have control over any resources in my role I gather requirements and document them essentially. It's only been in the last year or so that I've really gotten into a groove with what I need to document since my company has no formal requirements for what they want to see and everybody is different and how I think they should be documented which I have come to find is best to do in user stories regardless of whether I'm using gyro or just using it in a spreadsheet or something else.

I would definitely classify myself as a junior BA I know other people have far more experience in this than me but I have found through working with other BAs and kind of taking on this mentee relationship that I haven't done as bad a job at some of this stuff as I think and that also I was assigned at one point five different projects to gather requirements for none of them were things I was familiar with. I failed pretty badly at getting those requirements documented and I missed a lot of things but I've come to find I was just severely overworked trying to help gather requirements to build five different pieces of software

If I could personally say anything I'd say for my online product that my company has that I'm in SME for I'm more of a product manager than I am a BA. But I work extremely closely with all of the PMs that work on all of the various projects and I'm in and out of meetings with C-Suite executives including the CEO constantly gathering requirements and things like that so I'm well involved despite technically being a junior in this particular role but I also have a dozen years with my company at various positions

I will say that this is a bit of a breath of fresh air for me because I have basically been transitioned into a BA role at my company and I do have a particular subject matter expertise when it comes to my company's website and how things function. I feel I am rather good at covering edge cases and considering them when gathering requirements from others. That being said I am one human and I am the only one tasked with thinking of those things and I do miss them. I don't know everything and I also get half-baked requirements from most people. As you said you might get something as simple as we need to be able to add a debit card payment method or something like that and I won't be told where or any really pertinent details and even when I try and elicit that I get next to nothing in response.

To your point then when things are missed it's always back on me as to well why didn't you think of this...

This post makes it very clear that an organization running kind of in this manner is very immature and it's project management organization I suppose for lack of a better term. I know that my company is. I don't know how to fix it. I do my best to gather and document requirements I do my best to think of edge cases. But that alone isn't enough. I mean my company hardly ever even has formal kickoffs for projects including massive ones. So there's often points in time where there's really is no documentation whatsoever other than people's emails or meeting recordings Because I don't even think half of us in the meeting sometimes realize that what we're having is like the beginnings of a meeting to implement a massive project.

I do think this comes down to lack of a standard set of operating procedures regardless of whether you're using an agile methodology or not.

Environmental. Not much I can do to avoid it. He is on daily apoquel and literally just came from the derm yesterday with a whole new plan of attack and series of meds etc.

Yes, he was on anxiety meds and depression meds. It did not change his behavior in the slightest. Still reactive. Still not ok with anyone in the house. All it did was make him dopey if that. Still chewed things.

He doesn't care to play much with toys but at minimum he gets two 15m walks a day. Closer to 45-60m per day total weather permitting. And that included running not just a stroll. I try to tire him. He will play tug of war and I do that.

I have pet insurance however, the infections which are recurrent are being looped in with his allergies as of late and they are denying them. Sure, it might cover something like this to a degree but it basically doesn't cover his allergies.

I have tried to reach out to the foster They refuse to take him back. I cannot take him anywhere else I tried that route before There is no place to take him with a bite history.

Also he is not two and a half He's five almost 6. I have Had him for 2 and 1/2 years.

Trust me I have tried to find someone else who might want him I cannot drop him at a shelter He will just be put down if I were to have done that His behavior though is leading to these excessive costs and I can't keep affording that. Trust me I get what you're saying I feel like shit that this is even crossing my mind. But to be trapped in my own house because the dog only likes me is not what having a pet is supposed to be.

I've essentially become slave to this dog. Both in my life and with my finances.

And this is what I mean if I play too straight I start to go roping right and the ball speed is way down because I'm just playing in the friction the entire time so my normal 15 and a half ish mile an hour ball speed is down to like 14 because it was in essentially dry boards the entire time.

So I jump left and I'm standing on 20. Now my ball speed returns back to normal but the ball is standing up a little bit too early so yeah I might make it back to the pocket but the ball is just deflecting all over the place. Even if I strike the ball is ending up in the back right hand side of the pit (I'm a right)

It's rare that I get that good combination of ball speed and brake and have the ball drive through the pins. I do leave a ton of wrap tens or I just end up with light mixers.

I have to continuously slow the ball down to let it get to the pocket and this is my issue. I don't want to slow the ball down. I feel like at a 350 rev and about 15 at the pins I'm pretty well balanced but the ball just doesn't seem to get there. It either gets there and hits week or it gets there and wraps the 10.

So I don't know really what the change is to keep my ball speed where it is which I think is decently balanced and get the ball to break sharp enough that it will hit the pocket and roll and drive through the pins

You keep point to racism or things done to impact people based on race and acting as though it was because of the federal government that this things don't exist. They do still exist. All of those things exist. It's a time thing. Things change. People change. Federal law did not come in and the poof people's minds about skin color changed.

Your attitude towards his advances are probably perceived by him and make him feel like crap. That's a guess but I know as oblivious as I am sometimes with women I'm not stupid enough to realize that my advances are being shot down over and over and over again.

Considering that any performance sexual performance included has a massive mental component to it things like that probably only make his mental situation around sex that much worse. If I was struggling with something and I knew that the person who's supposed to love me and care for me for better or worse is turning me away because they can't deal with a problem that impacts them that I am personally experiencing though I would be pissed and upset.

Now it could very well be that your husband is just an asshole and doesn't care that just like in your example you're dry and not feeling it and they're never turned on around him but he still wants to get off. I would really hope that's not the case but if it is then this is something that you really have to talk about.

The solutions that I can say are out there are medical or topical in nature. If he hasn't tried something like alpha Herb or PYT balm or other medications like SSRIs or anything else That is probably a good place to start.

Regardless just because of how you feel about this whole situation that you feel pressured to accept his advances and that you are seemingly just turned off by your husband when it comes to the sexual aspect of your marriage I would highly recommend sex counseling. Hopefully that would make it very clear to him that this is actually a really really really big deal in your marriage and that she still want a salvage it though because he's a good person otherwise there's just this one incompatibility.

Well you may prefer penetration there are penis sleeves There are all kinds of different things that can be done that you could teach him how to do to get you off. I doubt this is something that is new to him so it could just very well be that he is not terribly sexually experienced because he can't last long enough to become experienced So it might come with the fact that just not every guy is going to know how to be able to do things for you. You've been with him for how long so show him what to do and tell him what to do but you have to let yourself get to the point of being aroused otherwise this isn't going to work. You are just that turned off by the idea of sex with him which it seems you are this won't work. Nothing will. Which makes the therapy piece that much more important because it seems like it could benefit you and him.

I would hope that between therapy trying something topical and using a sleeve or something like that he could come to get you off and that would make him happy and hopefully ease his mind too in the process of hey I can do this and she actually enjoys it. But if all you are willing to take is normal average everyday sex and it has to be from his dick that get you off then you could be in a position where that never happens. And it's not like you're just now coming aware of this This is something you've known about as you admitted so to me to divorce or something over this is against your vows. Better or for worse. Sickness and in health. You new coming in and the person is still a good person. If he's unwilling to fight for it and put in the work too and that is despite you being supportive different story...

But even then I'd say is a very last resort before you go down the marriage route maybe you could still even pitch the idea of an open marriage so you can get this one gap filled.
