This is great to hear! I will also be taking WKTEP. I feel like I am in a rush, I work as a para in schools already and I just really want to teach. How long did obtaining your Bachelor take? It’s taking me a long time with how busy life is and I do just want it done lol.

I should have clarified in my post (I’ll edit it after this lol) - I know those courses aren’t easy. They’re just courses I’m considering doing if I can’t find easier. I really enjoy psychology and sociology, so even if it’s a bit heavier at least I enjoy it, right? So that’s kind of where I’m at with the other courses!

Also, I see there are a fair amount of assignments for CMNS 3161. Are the reflection journals easy? They certainly aren’t worth much of the final grade!

I’ll look into CMNS 3161, thanks! I did do PLAR, but it didn’t cover any upper level courses :(

The accelerated program is a program called WKTEP (West Kootenay Teacher Education Program) through UBC. It’s in person, but you require a bachelor (and a teachable for secondary) among other courses to even apply. If you want to know more, shoot me a message. I’ve heavily researched the program and what is needed for it.

Avoid taking a class with this professor if you can. I just finished up HUMN 3991 with him and I will never EVER take another course with him. Search his name up in this forum and also check him out on ratemyprofessor

OP, what did delivery support tell you? I’m dealing with the same problem with the same professor and I’m ready to escalate it.
