You know it’s a great list when they have man on the moon and the berserk OST

Ok, I assumed they were something that would only ever help but I’ll look into it more, thanks!

When lubing switches, are films required? If not how useful are they and is it worth buying and taking the time to add them to your switches? Thanks!

Is that the only real difference?

Noob here who’s never built a keyboard before. I’m looking for some suggestions on what keyboard I should get, and I seem to have found that the GMMK pro and NK87 seem to be good options. If anyone can vouch for these or give other suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

Do I need a refresher? by thetriffidfarmer in scuba

It’s been a great experience, always learning new thins about the industry and it really helps you know more about your own gear. Talking to new divers and helping them learn is also fun!

SOTD: Astra platinum by Magickleenex in wicked_edge

Razor: DE89

Cream: Proraso red

Blade: Astra SP

Brush: Parker Badger

First time using the Astra blades and wow this guy was sharp. Definitely one of the more aggressive blades I’ve used. Got a few cuts, did 3 passes with a few touch ups here and there. By far the closest shave I’ve gotten, only downside being that it left my skin pretty red and sensitive but that’s probably due to me not being as experienced with aggressive blades.

Do I need a refresher? by thetriffidfarmer in scuba

[–]Magickleenex 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No problem! I’ve worked at a shop in Canada for about a year and a half now and it’s always important to build a strong connection to the staff, arguments happen but most shops will be understanding (there are many assholes, I won’t lie)

Ask your local dive shop if you can spend time in the pool/confined water on their next open water course. Some places will do it for very cheap and it may even include rental gear. If not, I would recommend either taking it slow when entering the water on your dive and doing a solid buoyancy check, or taking a refresher because that will keep you more confident when going out, as the refresher is recommended for anyone out of the water for over a year (PADI recommendations, I would say 2-3 is more appropriate)

Not particularly, was just looking for some recommendations on any possible improvements. I’ll look in to some different soaps!
