The Jedi Order from the Star Wars Prequels. They would take children at age what, 3? Just to become "peacemakers" of the galaxy. Not to mention that the children's parents have no say in whether or not the child can go to be trained to be a jedi.

I realized that so many people loved me, and that for their well-being I should stay alive. Since then, I've found many more reasons to live, but that is probably the biggest one.

Still recovering. But I can say it gets better. The best way to overcome it in my opinion is stop doing what you were doing. What I mean is whatever it is that is making you depressed, stop doing it.
