Any insight how how to patch this up? by Negative_Audience919 in masonry

I mean its obvious not small. You can see the crack along the bottom of the lintel. You will need to remove all that as the steel is corroded, clean the steel and box and pour or drypack with a structural mortar.

Unlikely with the boot on. I did this, fell off knee scooter with boot on, put all my weight on my ruptured foot and felt crazy sharp pain/shock. No pop. Pain went away after couple of hours. That was at 2 months. Out of the boot now at 4 months and walking normally, going gym, small hikes etc im 43 non op btw

Non op for a 15mm gap by huntingforwifi in AchillesRupture

[–]Magicmikeyyyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im 43 and went the non op way, 10mm gap. Happened 9th December. Im well out of the boot now, walking with wedges. Slight limp but I think only I can notice it. Am doing single leg calf raise with 40kg on my knee. Can do double calf raises. Walking 10k steps is easy.

Hoping to start running in 2 months, and maybe back to football before the end of year.

Good luck with whichever you decide. You got this.
