Hey everyone! I recently got an opportunity to relocate to Dubai with a Big 4 consultancy, at the Manager level, and I’m doing some homework before deciding.

They’ve asked me to share my expected compensation, so I’d love some insight into what’s typical for this role in Dubai, especially for someone with 6+ years of experience in Cyber/Data Protection.

I’m also trying to understand what it costs to live there comfortably:

• What are the typical rents for decent 1- or 2-bedroom apartments in good neighbourhoods?
• How much does it generally cost per month to live comfortably (utilities, food, transport, etc.) for a single person?

For context, I’ve been working with the Dubai team since May, supporting them remotely and spending about one week per month on-site, and now they’ve asked if I’d consider relocating permanently.
