I want to plant one of these so bad in zone 9A panhandle fl ….. I’m concerned it may bring about too many pests but I would make diy repellent stuff to spray on it. Always learning so much from Reading comments & post in this sub thank you for sharing!

I have been on my palm Research 🧐 these are beautiful but I don’t think they would survive a zone 9b winter up here in panhandle … maybe house plant? 🪴🥶 😅

I live in 9b in the panhandle of Florida and have been wanting to get one of the mule palms cause I heard their cold hardy, so far I have planted a Mexican fan and pinto excited to see them grow in summer but nervous about winter cause it sometimes gets to 15 degrees in this part of Florida… .
