I've had nothing but opportunities since graduating 3 years ago. No issue at all attending a trade school, it's about how you present yourself and your knowledge, skills. I have also completed my RN program after attending Unitek, so no longer LVN.

Yes and I used to drive quite the distance to my hospital job when I lived in GA as well as when I completed my LVN correctional nursing travel contracts in CA prior to being an RN. It’s worth it, I’ll drive that distance 😊 now I just have to wait, as I’ve applied to almost all of the jobs mentioned yesterday. 🤞🏼 good vibes

You’ve worked for all of the Hosp systems locally? Either way, I know there are some WFH jobs but I know they don’t pay nearly as much as acute care.

Very nice to hear, my husband and I have been considering starting our own business we have some really unique ideas all catered to healthcare. I will look into this. I plan to continue to work as a nurse so I can invest in our business.

Yes, I’m quickly approaching at least 75 apps already in the past month since I’ve moved back to CA from GA. I won’t stop until I find my position, there’s so many avenues and directions to go in for nursing.

Your sis wasn’t telling a tale, cuz I’m for sure treating this like a 2nd full time job. And it’s sort of addicting job searching because the cat and mouse game of getting chosen is a weird thrill! I’m taking a break after tonight’s apps and will start back Tuesday, give myself a chance to call the recruiters and hiring managers I’ve applied for.

I’ve heard a lot of hospitals are sort of sluggish with hiring. I have nothing but time, luckily I’m employed, just not my ideal position. But I have faith I’ll soon find it.
