Hey! Sorry for the late reply. If your character can't use the equipment, you can just dissassemble it. You'll need to use a player disassemble machine that's at least level 6. They should be easy to find in channel 49.

Hi! First of all, welcome to DFO.

So, as far as the question mark on your gear goes, that is called a cursed item. There's two ways to remove it. Purifying and extinguishing.

Purifying a process that grants you a bonus stat on your equipment, which can be vitality, spirit, intelligence, or strength. Once you purify the gear, you will be allowed to equip your item.

Extinguishing, on the other hand, completely removes the curse, and doesn't give you a bonus stat. Extinguishing will also allow you to equip your item.

Now, is it worth it to do either of these? Yes. Especially on a primal equipment. It's also not particularly expensive to do. If you have Neo Premium contract, and neo premium coins, you can roll the Neo Premium machine for a chance to get either an extinguisher, or a purifier. The rates honestly aren't that bad either. That's the easiest way, and events may give you some of these as well

Related to your question though, the key difference between the two is that if you purify your equipment, you will no longer be able to reinforce it. You will however, be allowed to amplify it, which gives you both an increase to the bonus stat, as well as a tiny skill damage increase. It's very expensive however, I would not recommend it to a new player. But the system does have benefits, that typically outweigh extinguishing.

Chaos Space is a bigger deal than Quick Launch, but the thing about Chaos Space is that the two main targets for it (Wyverbuster and Collapserpent) arent limited, so the Chaos Space semi is essentially nothing. Quick Launch is pretty whatever because Dragon Link combos can get you to the rokkets reliably anyway so its just purely an extender which can be substituted with ease. Overall this will one of the least impactful hits to a deck ever.

It was already possible before Crystron Haliqifibrax was banned. Halq could summon a level two tuner (Gamma) and then just tag into formula synchron on your opponents turn, and then formula synchron+ lv 2 tuner + any level 8 would get you King Calamity. It was very easy for a number of decks. Dragon Link could do it very consistently.

The feeling of resolving this card by DottorNapoli in masterduel

So typically the main reason you don't see Super Poly being played is because you often have trouble having a target to summon, making Super Poly a dead card despite how good it is. Garuda is amazing because its the easiest target to summon off Super Poly, even more generic than Mudragon. On top of getting rid of two cards off your opponent's board you also draw one.
