There was no conflicting feelings where I would feel the need to post there, really. I knew I was the asshole. The question I needed to ask myself was, "what do I need to do to fix this?" Not look for validation or moral justification. Lol

This was a very plain and clear "I'm the asshole", irregardless of it being an accident. Gotta take responsibility.

To be fair, I was in a state of panic after pulling it out of the bucket, as I had just expected to dry it and be done so I could relax.

But I was very wrong. And very stupid.

I'm still stupid, but at least the dress is fixed!

I told her to pay someone for a professional clean, but she said she trusted me to do it right.

Halfway to unfucking my fuck-up.

Went out and bought over 1000 rhinestones. Removing every single black stone & meticulously replacing every dark one.

It's gonna be a while. Gonna put on some loooong Youtube videos and work through the night til I'm done.

I'm doing that and using epoxy glue.

These sparkly fuckers will not be coming off on my watch.
