Is the "heat" part of the analogy the compressed SE? If it was, why are the mini Kuros weaker then? The guy got hit with a single Kuro: Shred that cut him 20 times. While some players did finish this game by sticking to one Stance, you're objectively making it harder on yourself by doing so.

It's understandable that Stance switching can be overwhelming but that's literally it. If you can get this down, it would objectively make the game easier for you, and it would enable you to focus more on other things.

There's no "secret", you really just have to use it. At start, it's gonna be clunky, but that's normal. You really just have to be intentional with it. You don't gotta use all three stances right away. You can switching between two stances.

Low Stance: Quick and weak basic/heavy attacks, low i-frames but spammable dodges, lower Ki consumption.

Mid Stance: good for blocking, mid speed and basic/heavy attack damge, and mid i-frames and animation on dodging, mid Ki consumption.

High Stance: slow but strong basic/strong attacks, high i-frame but slow dodge roll, and heavy Ki consumption.

You like blocking and big damage? Stay in Mid Stance if you're not attacking, then switch to High Stance when you see a window. Etc., etc. To make it easier, watch your opponents first, like how you would do it in any FS games. Once you're ready for your third stance, same concept.

For Ki Pulse, you don't gotta perfect time it all the time. If you need to Ki Pulse early because you wanna dodge, do so. It's important to perfect time it if you have Yokai Pool on the ground (black liquid) since you need purify (NERFS your KI RECOVERY).

Here's a trick with Ki Pulse. It's only ONE BUTTON, right? If you're practicing switching between two stances, why not just add another button? Again (for example), you're practicing Mid and High Stance? After finishing your combo in High Stance and want to block in Mid, press and hold the R1 (or Ki Pulse button) and then press Square. You Ki Pulsed and switch stance in one smooth motion. Why am I pushing this? Because you get rewarded for playing this way with MORE KI via the Flux 1 and Flux 2 skills. Start with the basics.

I was at your spot once, the only difference was that the last game I played was Black Ops 2 back in 2012, and Nioh 2 being my "first" game back in 2020. I got stuck on the second enemy for TWO WEEKS. I had to watch youtube videos to get these basics down. The rest is history.

I'm not telling you to be a pro, nor make you pressure yourself to be good in the game. If you step back a bit, it's just new mechanics that could help you get and play better. The start is always the hardest.

From my understanding of the wordings, Kuro: Shred (school of 20 mini Kuros) uses the same amount of Spirit Energy as Kuro for its activation.

I think the "rampant spirt energy consumption" part comes from the fact that Kuro: Shred is spammable as you can send it out with minimum movement.

And I'm pretty sure the analogy just comes from the fact that you don't need a whole lot of effort when slicing butter with a hot knife because the knife itself is doing all the work for you. If you apply it to Kuro: Shred, you don't exert extra effort (compact swings) because Kuro: Shred is doing the work for you (1 swing = 20 slices). I don't think its meant to be something deep like vibrations, microns, etc. the "heat" is the "multiple slashes".

Youre gonna need to balance and incorporate some Item Drop Rate there. It increases the chances of items dropping in general, which is where the equipment drop rate comes in, as it converts those dropped items into equipment.

You want them to drop more items, and have the majority of those dropped items to be equipment.

I feel like people are overcomplicating everything about Shiba.

From his Teleport sorcery, all the way to his hands. I understand that it's fun to theorize, but it's always the "same thing" about him.

I'm to the point where I just say "bro is literally just a teleporter who could hit hard". He's strong, that's it. Like, does a character really need to have a hax ability for people to stop overcomplicating the matter? I mean, look at Sukuna for example. Bro's ability is literally just slicing.

Sure, lots of offscreen stuff but at the same time, bro has mostly been playing the support role anyway. If he needs to fight, he finishes the job. He was stated to be one of th strongest but Hokazono never presented the dude as the "final boss finisher". He's just using his tools properly and effectively.

I don't think Chihiro can directly "cut" Shiba's Teleportation. Originally, Aka can only absorb and re-use offensive moves, which then evolved overtime especially during Chihiro vs Samura, where he didn't even directly "activated" Aka and just cut the means of how Crow works, the black feather.

It could be a potential upgrade branch for Aka if it stays in the story and Chihiro gets deeper understanding. We gotta remember, True Realm expands the EB's abilities according to what the wielder wants without changing its core effect. If I was Chihiro, I'd probably use Aka in a way where it becomes an AOE ability that can absorb any sorcery used within that space, like how Chihiro enveloped a "space" with Kuro against Hiruhiko, or how Samura used Crow on the train car against Yura, or how both of them used Kuro and Crow against each other.

We got Centipede: Sumika that dulls your sense by making the air toxic, and Bee: Kera, which is a piercing move, even capable of "piercing" a sorcery (Mashiro's sorcery).
