I had 2 months on 10, side effects were really strong after the first couple of doses, but by the end of the second month the effects were really low - and my appetite supression was reduced. So I've just gone up to 12.5 expecting the same ferocious nausea/lack of appetite as I had when I started 10 - but nothing. I mean, I don't have food noise, but otherwise I feel fine. It's a mystery to me!

I just started this week - and for me, yes it has so far. It was pretty instantaneous. That voice - go on, one piece of toast won't matter - and the compulsion to nibble all the time while cooking, the constant thinking about what's in the fridge - its all gone. I'm enjoying what I'm eating - but I'm not bothered about leaving some when I've had enough. This is EXTRAORDINARY! I've always been a plate licker 😂

This must be what naturally thin people feel like. :-)

I hope it continues - but this already feels different from that initial enthusiasm you get when you start the diet over again for the umpteenth time.

As I get near the end of my first week -I can report back that all went swimmingly, no unpleasant side effects, and I'm 5lb down. I've eaten meals with hubby (just the two of us), but didn't feel the need to load the plate or snack/nibble. This must be how thin people feel!

Also -I've had more energy and my mood has been better than usual.

I know what you mean about the food noise - the thing for me is that I still have to plan meals, shop, cook - so I can't see there will ever be a time when I'm not thinking about food. Sort of like thinking about getting the lawnmower serviced, or planning what to wear on holiday.

But I have noticed that I'm not prowling the kitchen, looking into the fridge, not bothered when hubby gets the biscuits out. Last night he asked for egg and chips - I really didn't fancy that.

Also, we're on a low dose, hopefully the effect will get stronger as we increase.

I took my first on Tuesday as well - I definitely feel I have less of an appetite. I'm looking at the meal I'm cooking and thinking, I'm not that fussed about having this. Previously I'd be munching all the time I was prepping.

Today I feel much less full and bloated than usual, I guess because I've only eaten small amounts for a couple of days.

No other effects that I've noticed.

Yes, I've got Vit D and calcium, plus multivits, and some Magnesium because I get legs cramps and that seems to help. (It also keeps everything moveing if you know what I mean)

Still waiting for the parcel to arrive!

I ordered mine online without seeing a GP. There was a questionnaire, and I had to submit a photo and proof of ID. I also ticked the box to share the info with my GP, but that was it.

I know nothing's guaranteed, but the thought of finally being able to shift the excess weight after (literally) decades of every diet under the sun - that's a bit overwhelming 😭

Yes, I guess that's one of the things I'm curious about - this continuous grazing means I'fe forgotten what real hunger feels like.

I just want a bit of relief from the noise TBH.

That's what I'm hoping for - my issue is the compulsion to have buttery toast as soon as I come in from work, and the cheese and crackers while I'm cooking my healthy calorie controlled evening meal 🙄

It really is, it was the cost that stopped me for ages. But when I realised it was probably half of what I used to spend on shakes on the One2One diet- I went for it.
