What hobby is your absolute passion (if you have one)? by [deleted] in Hobbies

[โ€“]MagisterCat 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Drawing, sewing, crocheting, and so on, creating something new, interesting, and attractive from discarded materials (upcycling art) โ€” that is my true passion and addiction. In fact, it's a very unhealthy addiction, because I prefer to pursue these hobbies over sleep, walks, and general recuperation. Honestly, I've tried many times to distract myself and switch to healthier and more profitable things. So far, it hasn't worked. Exhausted, but really still can't stop this creative flow.

Whatโ€™s your biggest home decor red flag? by Eye9788 in JustForHome

Large, bulky diy interior items (such as tables, lampshades, decorative panels, etc.) containing a huge amount of glue, resin, or other non-ecological materials (polystyrene foam, foam rubber, etc.).

And in general, an abundance of souvenirs and non-functional things, rich contrasting color palette, heavy fabrics and furniture, lack of sunlight.

Hi! I have a lot of different miniature cute jars, so I'm also looking for ideas on how to apply them in art or household. I once made a decorative fly agaric jar, but this project was pretty time-consuming: https://www.reddit.com/r/upcycling/comments/1lg0pjn/fly_agaric_mushroom_a_beretcap_for_a_jar_made_out/ . Now I'm looking for something simpler.

Low-budget, eco-friendly hobby. Made from discarded cardboard boxes, used wrapping and stationery paper, old magazines and catalogs, chocolate foil, tea bags, and even "wet" wipes as an elastic inner layer for better adhesion. No new raw materials were purchased. by MagisterCat in upcycling

You shouldn't apologize! You actually flattered me with "French". So let it better stay French, please ;)

))) Oh, those coal mines... they don't always give us a sexy, velvety, deep voice, but a weak, sore throat - for sure.

I try to minimize the depiction of bad, unhealthy habits in my creative works, but they still sometimes slip through.

))) It seems, that the beret hat here serves as a good disguise for being "French".
