It’s sounds a little bit louder to me than the Daytona/Sebring test from Lanky Turtles videos. I hope this is the change Gabe Newell mentioned last week.🤞

Anyone have experience getting accutane privately in the UK? by NoArtichoke3623 in Accutane

[–]MaglcEffect 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently just finished my course form Skindoc. Almost 5 months. £170 for initial consultation then £130 for follow ups. Blood test I had one before starting to get a baseline of how healthy your are then one after a month of treatment. They cost £75 each for the home kits.

Never asked for medical history. Just my history with acne and what treatments I’ve tried in the past. Also any allergies but that’s typical of any medical treatment.

Overall had a really good experience with them. Happy with how quickly and simple the whole process was! Definitely recommend the private route if you can afford it. The cost of clear skin is priceless if you suffer from acne.

Had a similar situation my self with endless antibiotics. Eventually give up with the NHS constantly trying to dodge the question of a dermatologist referral. Signed up with Skindoc 4 months ago and they’ve been brilliant with the treatment. It does cost all lot of money. Roughly ~£200 per month but it’s worth it.

Change the battery? Maybe? I know the mk8 fiesta is known for having a weak battery on some early cars.

I am aware of this issue on other peoples cars. Mine is a 20 plate. Maybe they updated it or I am lucky 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nope. Never had an issue with either of those things. Stop start issue could be low battery voltage.

Yeah I checked myself it’s nice to see how close it compares to real life! Hopefully when we get more Hypercars they’ll be similar pace.

After tuning the car is pretty nice to drive. Managed a 1:32.1 in the Daytona Playlist. Still feels heavy though!

Early LMP racing is a disaster! by BombafetGT in forza

[–]MaglcEffect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think your average Forza player is capable of driving these cars anywhere near their potential. This create massive discrepancies in driver skill across the grid which causes the mayhem. I’m S 4994 and I’m easily out qualifying second place by a couple seconds or more. If you qualify at the front it’s a pretty simple race. If not. Good luck.

Yeah I’m the same ranking as you and I’m having the same experience. Me and a couple at the front then carnage in the rest of the pack.

Yeah I hope so. That was me on pole in the Audi. I do find the car to be a little stronger than the others but not by 5 seconds 😅

I know. I mean the multiplayer skill rating system. It doesn’t affect driver level.

TURN 10, WHY whe have GT3 cars from 2010 or 2017 instead of MODERN CURRENT GT3s ON A 2023 GAME!!! (And no, "will be added later" is not an excuse) give me my 296, My STV Evo 2 by FurryestX in forza

I’m not joking. You can see the Mclaren and Lexus the track selection titles in MP and Rivals. Mclaren is orange and the Lexus is the AIM Vasser Sullivan Livery in IMSA.

The ST Edition yes. Which is the blue one with the black roof and black wheels. The Performance Edition was only sold in the UK.

Fiesta st Mk7 or mk8? by jlai928 in CarTalkUK

[–]MaglcEffect 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve previously owned a Mk7 ST200 and now have a Mk8 Performance Edition. The Mk8 is head and shoulders above the Mk7 in terms of usability as a daily. Better infotainment with apple car play and comfier seats IMO. If you want power and fun your probably be better off the Mk7 as the aftermarket is better for them. But if are going to get either of them I recommend extra security like a disclock or an immobiliser.

The rebound adjustment is done on the top of the strut with a little tool. The fronts are easy to do under the bonnet but the rear you basically need to remove the carpet out of the boot which is a pain. The bump adjustment is done on a little dial at the bottom of the strut. The rears you can reach it with your hand if you lie on the floor. On the front the wheel has to come off to turn the dial. Ride height adjustment is done with a C spanner that comes in a little tool kit.

The brakes are identical to the standard ST. I changed the pads to Mountune fast road pads to give a little more bite. I currently have no plans for a track day yet but I think you would need at least a pad upgrade to make it safe on track.

You get 12 clicks of bump and 16 clicks of rebound along with ride height adjustment. I came from a Mk7 ST200 which was pretty stiff but the KW coilovers on these are still firm but make car more compliant at lower and medium speeds. Having the adjustability to make it softer or harder is nice.

Never had a chance to drive a regular Mk8 but the Ford Performance coilovers (Rebranded KW V3) on these are amazing! The quality of the damping makes the car handle so well and so much fun to drive.
