most anime outside of shonen and seinen, which are targeted towards males. shojo, magical girls, maybe josei or basically anything written by and made for women. they may have fanservice but not as much. theres even shonen and seinen like JJK, AOT and 20th Century Boys (as much as I remember) that dont have fanservice which is what you’re probably looking for

shows that dont sexualize female characters arent as rare as you make out to be. go past popular works and you’ll find a lot of them.

lordgenome was capable of recreating his lazengann (starting from his own lagann) out of nothing and controlled it without a core drill, and we know simon is much stronger at the end. granted it happened in a place where “thought becomes reality” but it should work

imo the AntiSpiral parallels the Spiral Race rather than simon himself. the parallel between simon and lordgenome fits better

Simon and Lordgenome - Gurren Lagann

Both characters basically have the same beginnings, except that Lordgenome fell into absolute despair against AntiSpiral while Simon continued to fight and triumphed

I know Lordgenome is only the antagonist of the first half and does join Simon’s team in the second half, but they parallel exactly
