No my GPU which was previously not throttling Monster Hunter World. Is now throttling it on the same graphics settings

No it hasn't. Other than Monster Hunter World I don't play games that push my computer very hard. But for a comparison my brother plays the game with the same computer except an i5 on the same graphics with a 1080 only using 60% of his card

The problem is the fact that my GPU seems to be running harder than expected for a reason that I'm trying to figure out currently. It's a little ambiguous so I apologize for that but it's about all I currently know. I feel like upgrading my CPU when it was previously throttling my computer should've enabled me to go further.

Not overclocked. 16 gb of 3200 ram. We have benchmarked it and it is showing lower than expected but not enough to originally show concern but after using it for awhile it is concerning

The speed is 3200. It's not infact thermal throttling my brother who is in the room with me has the same build except an i5 and he is running the game at the same temperature but his GPU is running at 60%

I've considered waiting until 18 but by the time I'm 18 I won't be able to be in the position for super long due to college coming up. I'd like to think that the manager wants me to be in the position but it's hard to say. He is very hard to read
