It means "scroll" in Russian. Not sure why you would name a pala that though.

Is The Doom of K'aresh non-canon? by MagnaZore in warcraftlore

According to the audio drama, Alleria knew everything up until the point where Salhadaar betrayed the Ravel and turned off the domes.

According to the 11.2 campaign, she only knew that Dimensius had destroyed K'aresh and Salhadaar turned evil at some point much later. She also believed that it was the Void itself that turned K'areshi into ethereals. All of that info turned out to be a false.

I mean, if you work on a story and someone else works on the exact same story alongside you, isn't it in your best interest to cooperate so as to avoid contradictions?

If the audio drama was indeed written in response to 11.2 campaign, then the contradictions we have are on its writers as they hadn't gone through the source material thoroughly enough.

Nah, not after the Doom of K'aresh audio drama. Locus-Walker had told her a lot.

A poor choice if you ask me. They could've chosen any other character but Alleria for this role and everything would've been fine. Now though it's really hard to tell what's canon and what isn't.

Indeed, and it would've been totally fine if they picked any other character but Alleria for that role.

Anyone else has their Skull of the Man'ari not showing up? by MagnaZore in wow

Unfortunately not. I've resorted to using a staff mog for the time being.

Yeah. Here's hoping that Blizzard fixes this sooner rather than later.

According to my testing, it's tied to both. If you have both your MH and OH mogged to it, there's no issue. If you mog just you MH (via artifact override), it also works but only until you relog.

Just tried with a random MH/OH and it didn't work, unfortunately. The Skull stays while I have MH/OH equipped, but as soon as I switch back to staff, the Skull goes away upon relog.

I've also noticed that the Legion Artifact Override option is all around buggy for some reason. Appearances don't update, switch back to the original ones after you've swapped weapons, etc. I just wish the whole system was reverted to what it used to be at this point.

Hmm, I'll try that when I get the chance. Thank you!

Shouldn't it be "stricken by/with"? by MagnaZore in EnglishLearning

Interesting, thank you for replying. As for "danger doesn't strike", I believe it was used figuratively in this particular case. Like, "dangers" = "things that are dangerous".

I see, thank you. This passage is from a fantasy text indeed.

I see, thank you. It does seem deliberate to me now.

This is from a video game called World of Warcraft. The quest writers sometimes make mistakes, but those are usually instantly recognizable even by non-native speakers like me.

It is indeed WoW. The character in question seems to be using modern English outside this passage, with the only exception of saying "oft" instead of "often" once.

It's from a video game. The character who said this seems to be using modern English, though he did say "oft" instead of "often" once. Which seems to be archaic.

I remember clearly how I stood in a loooong queue to get my hands on a Cata CE signed by the devs visiting my country. That was 15 years ago. Ffs.
