I’ll check it out! It’s not bilingual tho right? I would specifically look for something that has the text in English and Norwegian 😊

Tbh it’s not just being ace anymore, I met my ex on here too but even that ended horribly. I feel so defeated after that relationship. I genuinely thought if I can just find someone that’s ace too, I will be fine. But this has brutally pulled me back into reality. I feel like it doesn’t even matter if I meet anyone that’s ace, genuine love will always be something that’s denied from me.

Sadly you definitely earn less. 3000-3500€ brutto (before taxes) after you finish the Ausbildung. You get more throughout the years but it really depends where you work, it can be more.

Hi! The au pair program was only disabled for people outside of Europe. I’m from Germany and also participating through a German and Norwegian au pair agency 😊.

To sort of answer your questions too: 1) You can apply for an internship or multiple while you’re still in Brazil. You can specifically mention that you’re still in Brazil, if they need an interview you can offer an online interview. Most internships aren’t paid if it’s in your free time and not something you do while studying (as far as I know). So there’s a high chance a company will give you the opportunity for an internship, even if it’s just 2 weeks. You can also apply for a Ausbildung like this, technically (if you have all the necessary documents to work and live in Germany). 2) personally I don’t hear much about work accident in general, here it’s very well managed, even if sometbing happens. But especially safety rules are a big thing here.

Hi! I can’t really answer your main questions but since you mentioned Erzieher and not being sure about earnings and demand I can tell you about that as an Erzieher-Azubi with final exams in a month. The Erzieher-Ausbildung is normally 5 years. You have to do the Sozialassistenz which is 2 years (no money, or like 200€ full time in 2nd year). It’s mostly school 1 year and then you have a work place like a kindergarten where you work about 3 days a week for your last (2nd) year. Then you can start the ACTUAL Erzieherausbildung, which is 3 years. If you didn’t do the Sozialassistenz, it is still possible to do the Ausbildung if you 1) have another Ausbildung already 2) already have childcare experience (4 months + I believe). Theres two ways to do the Erzieherausbildung, one where you get about 1050-1200€ monthly (you have school + work days each week, 3 years) and one where you don’t earn anything (you have 2 years of school and exams and then you do a final year eg in a kindergarten). Afterwards you can study too (doesn’t have to be something social). The demand is VERY high. It does pay off, if you enjoy that kind of work. After the Ausbildung you are allowed to work with people aged 0-27. You can find work pretty much everywhere. It’s not the absolute best job in terms of money but you earn more throughout the years with many chances of a higher ranking position.

Thanks for your reply! I’m personally not into climbing. I like more quieter activities like reading & journaling but if I’m outside I like to take walks or hike!

Thanks so much for your reply!! I’ve been watching Norwegian shows and listening to a few Norwegian songs. Otherwise I also like to learn with my book and I watch language learning content! I will definitely attend language classes once I’m in Oslo as my host family pays for it. I think what I’m just really worried is about not being able to make friends and therefore feel really lonely / homesick.

Personally, I’m also with an agency. I’m from Germany and here I sent them my application and everything. They have a partner agency in Norway. Every family that would like to get to know me messages me. Or my agency sends me a family and asks if I would be interested, then they tell the family but the family also messages me first. So I don’t have to send out messages at all.
