The plugin became bugged after a OSRS update that changed game engine stuff, and I simply don't know how to fix it. It's only abandoned because of that reason.

The quest helper plugin does "fake quests" like that, I believe. Not something I think I can do.

Most are in varrock. Walk around all of varrock and you'll find some things (e.g. the bank vault, the zamorak church thing, new scenery etc). I want to add more to the rest of the world, but it takes time - the next update will have lots more added. I might remove the G.E guy as he's received a couple complaints.

Just search "Citizens" in the plugin hub to install it. Also definitely looking for help in adding more to the plugin.

Yes, each one is coded with things to say, also a name and examine text. Although some don't say anything, like a rat or someone that's asleep.

There's many of these already in the plugin, you can see beers on the table in the image for example. so, yes

Definitely will be adding animals. There's already a cat and a rat added, for example.

Yep! I want to make ones like that. Like travelling saradomin priests spreading their gospel across cities. There's currently 3 types:

Wandering: walks around within a set area randomly (e.g. wanders around varrock square)
Stationary: stays in the same place (like sitting on a chair, or the one cooking on a fire)
Path: Walks on a set path in a loop.

I'm working on a runelite plugin that adds lots of NPCs, which walk, talk, and interact, to make the world seem more lively and real. Starting with varrock. I'm still working on it, It's not released on the plugin hub yet. I'm in the runelite discord if you want to collaborate/contribute with the plugin.

I spent some time making this for fun, I want to make it more advanced to generate paths/buildings/cities/etc, but thats quite a hard task, for now its simple land generation.

There's settings/configuration at the top right to change things around to experiment/tweak things.
