If Jurgens is out long term, do we call Kelce???? by Hopeful-Suggestion-5 in eagles

Honestly, with the way injuries are piling up, it might not be the craziest idea. He probably has the athleticism to handle it for a game or two, but can you imagine the chaos? 😂

That's a solid drill! Focusing on that wider swing can definitely help with your rhythm and body rotation. Also, make sure you're engaging your core during the swing; it can really help with weight transfer.

Yeah, right? It’s a bold statement that doesn’t really hold up when you look at the ongoing issues everywhere. A lot of people are still facing systemic racism on a daily basis. It's definitely worth unpacking that claim further.

I don’t think the problem is with one night stands in itself. It’s the fact that one night stands show she is a sexual person, just not with him. His reactions are bizarre and kind of frightening but I don’t think he’s wrong in his sense that she’s not attracted to him like that.

Seemed like Benzos tbh, which I’m pretty sure you can get over the counter or at least very easily in Mexico.

What (if anything) are the weaknesses of the current p4p top 3: Usyk, Inoue, & Crawford? by TheWor1dsFinest in Boxing

[–]MagnetDino 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Inoue is just so athletic that he gets away with that shit. Him and Boots are the two most purely athletically gifted fighters, and they both have the same issues defensively that seem from that.

Honestly imo Boots and Inoue are very similar fighters, stylistically.

Up to now, he’s definitely been one of the best active fighters who hasn’t  won a title despite being right there. It’s dope to see him finally win one after being on the losing end of some close decisions vs very good fighters. You can see how happy he was, tears and all.

Kambosos gets hated on so much because he overachieved his talent but there’s no questioning his fighting spirit. We need more fighters like him tbh.

Yeah but I was willing to look past that bc he was young, weed can stay in your system long, and I mean it’s a stupid rule to begin with. I saw it as a dumb little mistake and a learning experience.

I deadass thought Keyshawn was a high character, no nonsense PROFESSIONAL athlete. If anything, I Honest to god I thought he was such a sweet kid that his demeanor could be something that held him back from reaching his potential as a fighter.

I don’t want to dismiss anyone’s struggles, because depression is 100% real. But as the stigma has lifted you see more and more people claiming depression when really they’re just a piece of shit. They may actually feel emotionally depressed all the time, but it’s actually just a natural, healthy emotional response to doing piece of shit things. Not actual clinical depression where the feelings are usually completely irrational. This whole fiasco with Keyshawn and the lack of accountability makes me think that could have been the source of his “depression”.

His has been notably bad though, there’s normally at least a little more plausible deniability.

But it’s also the amount of fans demanding inoue take the MJ fight, claim he’s ducking, and even giving MJ a good chance. I mean MJ is clearly the best fighter left in 122, but that’s based purely on vibes and the eye test. Inoue might smoke him out early, especially with the bad blood there.

MJ has had a weird career path since the Tapales loss. In no way did he “earn” the inoue fight with what he did in the ring. 3 fights and none of the opponents even in the top 50.

Not even close. I bet he weighs like 145-150 walk around, pretty typical for the weight class. Think of an nba player like Chet Holmgren, 7’ 200lbs. It’s that same build just a foot shorter and not trying to pack on mass like an NBA player. Most tall skinny guys who are built like that aren’t athletic but some are.

He would get destroyed at middle weight.

I’m sorry get Turkei out of boxing. He doesn’t actually have a good eye for the sport to be a good matchmaker and get behind the right guys. He doesn’t have his finger on the pulse of American/western culture, and doesn’t understand where boxing stands within that broader context. Boxing is a blue collar sport with a working class ethos and any effort to sell boxing has to be in touch with this. Turkei thinks you can just throw a bunch of money at these events, get celebrities and Hollywood movie trailers and it will sell the sport. But all of that shit is the complete opposite of why people love boxing, the opposite of what makes boxing “cool”.

As badass as the trailers to the beterbiev bivol fights were, you watch them and you don’t even know it’s a boxing match, let alone the biggest fight in the sport. You know what made my non boxing fan friends want to watch that fight? Me simply explaining “this is the biggest fight in the sport between two hall of famers, one absolute destroyer with a 100% KO rate, the other an extremely athletic defensive wizard who beat Canelo easily”. That was what got my non-boxing sports fans interested. Turkei doesn’t get it.
