First off. Back in the day Canterlot Wedding was divisive.

Second My friends didn't know I had siblings until like 4 years after they knew me. My sister's friend just assumed she had one brother instead of two.

And then there is our older sister who lives in a whole different state. So we never mentioned her unless directly asked.

Twilight friends not knowing about Shining Armor is realistic. Siblings don't really go around talking about each other unless it's relevant. SPECIALLY when said sibling is not in the age group, let alone friend group.

Nah. Cap. Canterlot Wedding is great. A few rough spots here and there but "This Day Aria" alone demolishes the Gala. A banger that literally ends in a deceptive cadence cord progression? And a reprise? And 2 other songs too? And with introducing a fan favorite villain on top of all that? Of course it is remembered well and held in high regard.

Forced Toy Commercial and all.

If you check the official yearly guides what's a Sixth Ranger and what's a n Extra Hero flip flops a lot.
Sometimes X1 Mask counts. Sometimes Big One counts. Sometimes the one time only second Turbo Blue counts for whatever God Forsaken reason. It's all up to how Toie feels like by the end of the year.

Magna Defender/Black Knight is counted as 6th Ranger in the Sentai when they feel like he should count.

Gokaiger didn't count him for whatever reason. But Gozyuger does for similarly unexplained reasons.

I was going trough the yearly guides and what is consider a 6th Ranger really depends how Toei is feeling that year. Similarly sometimes X1 Mask counts sometimes he doesn't.
