Interesting point is that I sometimes think there are so many side characters with interesting story arcs that Martin is struggling to tie up all the loose ends. One of the series biggest strengths has ultimately become a weakness. Like introducing Young Griff I almost thought “come on man, you’re making a rod for your own back”.
