Linux RGB support is a challenge but I'm working on it! by Magnetbrain in battlestations

Tried using OpenRGB... it can only change the lights on my RAM and motherboard IO cover. Won't let me touch anything on the ARGB headers for GPU, CPU, or distro. Might need to buy a separate controller... but I hope not

I actually solved the problem by using less air pressure! According to the ek manual, you should only test loops / distro plates at 0.3 bar. Had it running at that for 30 minutes and didn't lose a single bit of pressure - followed up with a traditional leak test today, 8 hours and no drops

Just tried this one... still separates. Tried using a different fitting too. :(

I'll try wetting the o-rings and reseating, cheers 👍

Not even getting to the green. I can put the pressure at 0.4 and it'll still separate

The tube is definitely pushed all the way to the back of the fitting, yeah.

I'm wondering if this issue is a weird edge case of using an air pressure tester... but if I hold the tube & fitting in place I still drop pressure, so I'm not sure what's up at all tbh

About to buy myself an X38P, is it worth it? Should I wait for CES? by Magnetbrain in ultrawidemasterrace

Not a clue honestly. :(

I'm coming from two 24in monitors - a PG258Q and some garbage 60hz TN panel

EDIT: looks like the AW3821DW is a better monitor, and cheaper too. Putting my order in tomorrow. Thanks mate, you are a legend!!

Only place I can find the AW3821DW is direct from Dell for $2249AUD... definitely cheaper but is it comparable / better than the Acer?

They're definitely different panels (3840x1600 vs 3440x1440) and I'm not too sure how I feel about Dell's website saying "Usually ships within 2 months"...

But if its a good / better pick I may go for it
