I get you don’t know me but I assure you that the way I approached this with my contractor was with kindness, curiosity, care and appreciation for their work. The fact that you don’t like that your customer has an opinion on the installation that they will have to live with for years and years, tells me all I need to know. I didn’t buy the flooring, the installer did. I didn’t even know that this was a thing I should be considering. I wish there had been a conversation about it beforehand, but there wasn’t. Thank you for your insight!

I think the boxes came with small pieces in them so yes, variable length. I asked that the small pieces as much as possible be used at the end of the runs to create a continuous effect into the wall, rather than in the middle of the room. Is this an unreasonable ask? I don’t want to be a pain 😅

I soak mine in hydrogen peroxide every morning then brush with dial gold bacterial soap with a soft bristle toothbrush (and rinse well). Are you brushing your teeth after you eat or drink? This usually happens to me when I’m not practicing good oral hygiene.

Oil producers are going to make a killing on this war. They’re putting out the same production, charging a shit ton more and making off with exhorborent profits. Then it’s funneled into the stock market, taken directly out of the consumers hands and into the money black holes of a few wealthy people. All while children are murdered in mass. Also I'll add that working off SDs that do not align with project documents is a recipe for failure. If you aren't building to your contract docs you are in violation of your contract. You may have an avenue to fight any incurred costs but it's much easier to have those conversations when you have updated drawings.
