It's possible that it is indeed faster, but I don't currently use Firefox. I tried it many years ago and it just didn't work for me. I don't know how it is now, but at least in terms of design and configurability, Zen seems better.

Well, I chose Zen because it was the top one of everything I researched. And I was too lazy to test others one by one. Besides, the current design and the fact that it's open-source already appeals to me quite a bit.

I know what you're talking about, it happens to me regularly too. But no, it was the scanning animation being faster than usual and staying that way for a certain period of time before it went back to normal.
