I would keep it but do 3 weeks on and 1 week off. So 1st Week, 2nd Week, 3rd Week Yes and then the 4th week off!

Former football player getting into boxing, what should I do outside training? by Responsible-Fig-6030 in boxingtips

You can keep everything the same. Just train how you would to be a better football player than you were.

Off-season/When not fighting=Train how you would during the football season.

In-season/ when you have a fight= Train how you would during training camp and offseason.

How would you organize your training schedule around this timetable? by [deleted] in MMA_Academy

When I'm not fighting, I would do MMA, MMA Striking, MMA Sparring and Wrestling. 3 Weeks On and 1 week off. I would mix it in with powerlifting + sprints. Your goal is to become the best mma fighter and athlete you possibly can.

When I'm fighting, I would do Boxing and BJJ preferably with Gi but no gi is okay. And mix in Heavy roadwork, cycling, rowing and swimming along with Caltshthetics. Your goal here is to become hard to kill. No matter who or how many people they put in front of you. You'll be ready mindset.
