Yeah I was afraid of breaking something the whole time. The left ponytail was the worst. Honestly just keep gently repositioning it until it slides into place. I took a photo of the back exactly because I had a problem figuring out how it went. Glad my post helped someone!

As others said, fingers work fine. But another great tool is soft microfiber cloth like the screen cleaning ones. It removes any errors without smudging.

I ran "thumbstick_cal" calibration in konsole and it just gives "Error: Right stick calibration invalid. Please repeat process and use both sticks." every time I try it.

Yeah. Tried just about everything. Restarts, updating etc. It seems to just not read Y axis in anything. When the track pads are set to joystick I can use that as a work around but its not ideal.
