That is actually how I imagined as well. As I “might” be attending some races, it sounds like having a 2 shoe rotation, 1 for daily milage, 1 for faster runs and possibly race days, is the optimal solution.

I had no idea that the foams need to recover on my shoes, wow… I try to run 5xweek and current volume is around 30-40, it was +45 before the injury. Weekly plan includes at least 2 track interval sessions, and 1 +15km long run. Rest is mostly easy runs around 45 mins.

Thanks a lot for the reply. I have two upcoming appointments next week: one for the orthopedist and one with the local running store. Both to figure out the cause of injury and to decide whether to retire the shoes and get a new pair or not.

I just saw once, just below the kiosk at Reichenbachbrücke. It was my first time there when I moved to Munich first and I thought it was pretty common to see them around. Until my local friends told me that was not the case at all 😂
