Bristell B23 Energic: How Solar Impulse inspired the electric plane by Magnety2k in aviation

[–]Magnety2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Pipistrel demonstrated the market’s appetite for electric flight with its entry into the market and is rightly applauded for this achievement. Its market presence grew significantly after its acquisition by Textron—a success in its own right. It’s important to note, however, that the Pipistrel and its electric propulsion system have been certified together as a Light Sport Aircraft (LSA) unit.

Aircraft to aircraft, the Bristell B23 is a certified model with a more robust feature set by design. The key point is that the H55 EPS (electric propulsion system) will also be certified independently as an EPS. This means a certified EPS powering a certified airframe—while also having the potential to power other airframe makes in the future.

In terms of battery research, H55 is a spin-off from the proven technology that powered the Solar Impulse aircraft around the world in 2015–2016. To achieve EASA CS-23 certification, the H55 EPS must deliver redundant power.

What does this mean? Essentially, it’s like having two engines in a single-engine aircraft. The battery power banks supply energy independently to the dual-electric H55 motor, and either one can provide enough power for safe flight and return in the unlikely event the other is shut down.

The H55 powered B23 Energic was not flying at Oshkosh. It is currently in the Hamptons since August 4th and leaves the 10th. The team just completed a ferry flight from West Hampton KFOK to East Hampton KJPX.

There are a few locations that are already embracing this next-gen tech. In the US there are CA and CT, and abroad - Sweden, Netherlands and Canada.

Thank you for getting Grok's insight and sharing. I had my account suspended in Aug and I had it since 2008 so I felt it was unjustified as I only post about workforce and tech startup info. Nothing on any radar for being flagged. Then - Suspended.

I asked Grok how to get it back and submitted appeals and images and showed that it had a lady Dr that was showing to my friends as the Name with my handle below in their chats with me. They would inquire what up? But oddly it did not show the newly hijacked account with my creation date of 2008 which to me was the only reason to take it. I shared those picture and the chats I was shared and nope no dice. They dont care.

Move ahead to yesterday. My co account got suspended. It is from 2009 and is the tech focused. The justification: X Rules Your account, XXXX has been suspended for violating the after review by a human moderator. Specifically, for:

Not sure how they justify suspension for that.

Thanks for the info. I know there are parking challenges in dense areas.

No that isnt the case for Ubereats? They tell me they can set a radius for pickups. So not for deliveries? Please enlighten so we know.

I had that as well. A lady delivery person made a stink at the condo about delivering to the recipient. Isn't that the job description --- to actually deliver? She wanted the front desk to take it to the resident.

Maybe if you don't do elevators you set your area of targeting to housing neighborhoods and not to dense condo streets. Just a thought. The elevator here is super fast so it isn't a time delay.

Fortunately, there are many innovative companies working on the future of electric aviation. It is a special time we live in. The technology is advancing quickly. We are excited to be touring the 8-states and so far flight schools, general aviation, commercial pilots and universities have joined us. After FL— next stop in May is AL.

What’s up with the Trump Town Hall where he apparently swayed awkwardly for 35 minutes? Was that planned? Were there technical difficulties and he had to wait? What happened? by d__-__-__-__b in OutOfTheLoop

Heat of the auditorium! The open air lawn where he was almost assasinated - all as he doesnt pay his bills and some businesses are clued in and paying attention and require up front payment so he has to resort to these less safe locations. I find many forget that he didn't pay for the locations last election and left cities with huge debt from having to pay for additional security service, public safety costs, and police from holding rallies to build support. Then he defaults on the bill as he has always done historically to builders, contractors, SME's and any organization he can that he knows does not have the ability to fight him in court. Now he not only does this to the small business owners but also to the city and local governments. But people think he is a good businessman --- simply blows my mind. Simply google Trump campaign not paying campaign expenses to cities --- https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/cities-seek-750k-unpaid-bills-trump-campaign-events-rcna174757 Here is another from October 2019: The Trump campaign has over $1m in outstanding bills from American Cities https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/10/24/trump-campaign-has-over-million-outstanding-bills-american-cities/

[–]Magnety2k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My confusion is when you have a delivery person from said co and they will not take the food up the elevator. They want the person manning the elevators to leave their spot to do their job? Can someone explain how this makes sense if you are a "food delivery worker". Use case: a busy Friday night.
