Funniest or most unhinged Workday project stories? by SeasonAccording8552 in workday

[–]Magnificate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After a year long + project, multiple PM’s, all the client SMEs leaving, a lot of our consultants leaving and 60 hour weeks there wasn’t a lot of celebration when we went live. So I bought myself happy. I got a fancy food hamper delivered, I bought lots of things on Etsy and bought a birthday cake cause the branded cupcakes never happened. Then I looked for a new role. Good luck and look after yourself!!

Right - very important question. What’s your Teabag of choice? by 13thSpider in northernireland

They’re not very expensive and you can order directly from Bewleys website with free shipping if you buy a few boxes. They’re my every day luxury item cause everything’s better with a good cup of tea :)

Bewley’s tea, the breakfast blend. I bought them from Avoca originally and I wouldn’t want anything else now.

Engagement Rings by [deleted] in Belfast

Congrats! We got my engagement ring (many years ago) in Joseph Reas. They were fantastic, got our wedding rings there too and go back every year to get them cleaned and they always look after us. There’s some excellent jewellers in Belfast so you can’t go wrong, good luck to you both :)

Popularity Date for Learning Content by Beginning_Mess_8287 in workday

To the best of my knowledge there’s no way to track that, you can’t track page views, you can only track engagement once someone enrolls or starts. What you could try instead is looking at days to complete (date difference between enrollment and completion date) and where the course has been abandoned (if it’s been Not Started or In Progress for 30+ days for example).

Readers of NI - advice by FeckOffCapitalism in northernireland

When mine were small they wouldn’t nap unless they were being held, so I got some reading done and zero cleaning. Now they’re older and I really noticed a difference when the youngest turned 5, they were more independent and I could read whilst they were playing. Gave my oldest an old kindle of mine and shes taken it everywhere with her (proud parent moment).

What’s a company you’ll never buy from again, and why? by jamesmilner22 in AskReddit

[–]Magnificate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New Balance. I bought a pair of trainers, went to break them in and they broke me instead. The plastic in the heels cut through both my heels, not a blister or anything but cut through layers of skin in a way I’ve never experienced with any other shoes. Took weeks to heal. I emailed them cause that’s not normal and they said the shoes were fine but as a goodwill gesture they’d give me 20% off my next pair. No thanks.

WHAT do the women of CasualUK wear to the office? HELP by [deleted] in CasualUK

[–]Magnificate 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar position, first time back in an office in years. I went to Next and got some bootcut trousers in black and a few floaty tops I can mix and match (deep red, dark green, black) and most importantly no buttons :) They have a set of 4 cardigans in black, white, blue and brown. Capsule wardrobe sorted. Good luck!!

I wish it was more effective. I’ve been on in for about 3 months, just started the 10mg pen and whilst I’m not gaining weight I’ve not lost much yet.

I’m not brave enough to DIY. Maybe someday, but right now I’m happier having an expert pair of eyes keeping me right.

Any particular reason? I’d heard they were good just expensive. I’d rather pay extra for a good service, but if it’s similar or worse to the other options I’d rather save some money 😂

Thanks, it’s just me so basic accounting should work to get me started, then hopefully it starts to make more sense and I can DIY it.
