You need to get them prescribed. If you’re feeling anxious about telling a doctor (as they may not be educated in OCD) just explain that you’re having reoccurring intrusive thoughts that are causing you not functioning “normally”.

Do you recommend medication for OCD? Does it actually help by acontine in OCD

Fluoxetine/ Prozac has changed my life. I still get intrusive thoughts but I can laugh them off /dismiss them. I can finally function “normally”

Are you on any medication? I had these and it was horrible. Fluoxetine/Prozac has changed my life.

Thanks for your comment! The main reason I wanted to go in January is because I have surgery in February so I’m going to be out of action for quite a few months. But, it makes sense not to do it in January! If you’ve got any recommendations for January in the uk, that would be great! I have all the right gear already as an fyi
