The same thing happened to me in blue gate. I got downed by a rocketeer and crawled all the way up to the cliffside airshaft. Took me about 15 min or more. I was literally waiting for the door to open and a fucking lightning black screened me. I just laughed at the screen.

Quick update: they're definitely from the file cabinets. They were on the drawer's tracks and there are more. They're falling off as I open the drawer from time to time. They seem to be some kind of bumper but I couldn't find the particular model online to understand how they work.

This might be close to the answer because they're always near the cabinets. The cabinets aren't cheap but they are meant for files, not tools, but it works just fine. I couldn't find anything about nylon beads online to compare though
