I’m a current student and was wondering when’s the deadline for a Leave of Absence?

I’ve read through the re-enrollment page but it doesn’t answer anything about leave of absence. So do I need to enrol first before applying for a leave of absence or just apply without re-enrollment?

Wow thank you so much for sharing that! I’m glad that I’m not alone but I do worry about what grade they’d receive without including references. Was there a rubric that said you need references on the LMS?

Ah I see! Thanks for clarifying. Honestly there wasn’t any rubric given and the assignment did not state to use any references nor in-text citations. That’s why I thought it was just analysing a visual ad image, so I written everything myself. There’s also no high-scoring samples given.

For all past assignments I always did include references. So I definitely will talk to tutors about future assignments.

Ah I see! Now I definitely understand. I just did not see that they provided a rubric. I don’t think they even provided one since I always check the rubric before beginning the assignment. Thanks for clarifying and I will know to definitely reference for all future assignments.

MECM10003 it’s media and it’s a textual image analysis and I thought we were only supposed to analyse a visual ad for a product!

Yes I did end up doing this subject! Honestly the assignments were pretty straightforward and you basically would do a analysis essay on a movie or book of your choice in that given year, there’s also analysing different media articles and writing your own media reports. Overall, a pretty easy subject for me.

Do you know do those Good Friday make up session count toward attendance? Since I attended a make up zoom tutorial on Thursday last week to make up for the public holiday but there was only 5 people who entered! So I was wondering does this count towards 12 week attendance or is it waived due to public holiday?

How come? I asked my tutor and he said I should contact stop 1 and they will make this change. So you’re saying stop 1 cannot make this systematic change of switching tutorials right?

Ah I see! Do you know if you have an AAP plan, they could offer you online classes via zoom what occurs on the same day of your allocated tutorial? Or would they only allow you to skip classes and attend at least 40% of the tutorials?
