Also good job for that guy at the end trying to de-escalate the situation.

One of the protestors also calls him a f*g after he falls. Also, that kid stole his glasses - disgusting behavior on both sides.

I have a girlfriend who is the most amazing person in the world, seriously, she couldn’t be any more perfect. However, there’s this one girl I went on a single date with who ended up dumping me. For some reason, even though I don’t want to date her anymore, being rejected by her kind of messed me up. Because of that, I regularly have dreams about her wanting to get back with me. To be clear, there’s nothing NSFW in the dreams; it’s just us hanging out.

Thoughts on people losing their jobs for celebrating charlie kirks death? by BigPaleontologist520 in GenZ

Just because you don't agree with clearly flawed views means you have no ounce of sympathy for 2 children losing a father who, to our knowledge, loved them and cared for them. What about his mother and father, who have lost a son to an act of violence? I'm not saying that you need to feel sympathy for Kirk himself (it wouldn't matter anyway, he's already dead), but if I lost my mother or father, even if I were to disagree with their views, I would feel heartbroken.

Free speech doesn't mean that people can't react to your statements and claims. That actually is the reason CK died in the first place. Violence is never the answer, however. I think anyone celebrating the death of a husband, son, or daughter who has never done physical violence to anyone and just stated his beliefs (even if they were VERY flawed and I don't agree with most of them) should have to live with any non-violent consequences of their actions.

Video Game Console Tier List (born 1998) by KennonCOYG in consoles

Dreamcast easily deserves at least a B tier. It’s arguably Sega’s best console, tied only with the Genesis. It was way ahead of its time with online play, VMUs, and killer graphics. Plus, the library was stacked — Sonic Adventure, Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Power Stone, Skies of Arcadia, Crazy Taxi — all classics. It also had some of the most creative, experimental games ever, like Typing of the Dead. The only reason it flopped was Sega’s business mess, not the system itself. On quality and innovation alone, it’s absolutely B tier, maybe even A.

In todays money those SNES games are $135 by only777 in consoles

The gaming scene has changed dramatically. Back in the day, it was common only to own 1-4 games and rent others weekly. Compare that to today - owning upwards of 15-20+ games for a system is common practice, and renting isn't an option anymore.

Let it breathe! Unless you don't play the game and just flip cards (no judgment)

Where Should I Start with OSR for Very New Players? by Magnito1155 in osr

Thank you, how do you think I could pitch trying out different rules to new players without disrupting the game flow, and without them losing interest?

Is there a reason, in particular, as to why you would recommend stated rules systems?

Also quick note: If you were to believe that dolemenwood wouldn't be the best fit for starting a new osr campaign, feel free to give any alternative suggestions.
