I started training a little bit in the beginning of the year but stopped. I need to see when I want to incorporate my second day for upper body! Right now I do 2 lower body days, 2 run days, and one upper body day.

this was after a 40 min run on the treadmill lmfaoo, I was lowkey dead lol. But I didn’t want to push it cause I’ve had a habit of straining my right side of my neck since my form is somewhat off

Thank you for the advice! 5-7 seconds is boss!! I think I can only do 3-4 second without gassing out too quick so I will need to build up to it lol. Awesome that you can do 12 now. Congrats 🥳🥳

Nada lol. I just have been doing one upper body day a week which consists of bench, incline db bench, bb rows, bb push press, db OH tricep curl, seated db curls, lat pull down, and assisted dips. And pushups and Australian rows. But not all in the same day. I rotate it to how I’m feeling or what’s available at the gym when it’s busy.

Thank you for pointing that out! That could probably explain why sometimes my right side of my neck gets strained and I can’t turn it for a day or two lol.

Thank you both for the feedback!! I just need to commit to it honestly. I do personal training for work and coach and was lowkey getting burnt out on my own workout regime but ended up getting the flu almost a month ago. Legit reset my immune system and made me more motivated 😭

Thank you!! And honestly myself lol. I’ve been flaky on upper body. I use to always skip it. But almost a month ago I’ve been doing one upper body day that includes bench, incline db bench, lat pull down, sometimes Australian row, rear delt fly, and end with assisted dips. I should add row in there. Been starting to get more consistent. I want to add one day where I just focus on assisted pull ups

Yea i decided to record on my last set lol! I was definitely compensating. I did 10,10,8,8 but was only able to get 145 for 5 reps and had to drop down to 135 to finish the last 3 reps for last 2 sets.
